At a rather nice restaurant last night for girlfriend's birthday, table behind us had what looked like mother, 3 kids about 6-8 yrs old and also their grandad. Kids were given ipads or mobile phones to keep themselves amused, which they did by playing the most annoyingly loud games with whistles, car horn noises and cats meowing. Mother and her dad didn't give a flying toss no matter how much noise the brats made and it was plentiful and often. The missus kept me from going over and hurling the noisy lil words removed through the window. All I was thinking was I was paying three figures for a swanky dinner and I'm damned if I'm having it spoiled by the clampitts

After 10 minutes of treatment, brave Mo picks himself up, takes the richly deserved penalty, hits the post then the back of Remi's head to give the mighty reds the victory they're so worthy of. Slightly OT but at my place 5 years ago a load were made redundant and were contracted till Dec 31st of that year. However, they all got paid their packages 2 weeks prior to that date. None of them bothered to show up for that last fortnight !

We've wfh for last 19 months so have done secret santa via amazon prime. I hate it too but have taken part anyway. We've been "randomly drawn" and sent others' addresses and (if I get a certain individual) I would like to think that their gift from me has no invoice with my name anywhere on it as I intend to send something very offensive

He's certainly inherited his father's arrogance. Pretty much every goal he concedes he's up moaning at the defence. He probably believes he is bombproof against criticism. He never bothered me much until yesterday's post match interview. Now, I'll celebrate every goal past him ( I won't, but it's tempting !)
