How do we know which playoff is 'A' and which is 'B'? I'd presume 3rd vs 6th is A and 4th vs 5th is B but I can't find it written anywhere. If we get B I have no work for any fixture and A I have the exact opposite and need to plan ahead for how I'm going to avoid it all. Tense times.

Wolves spent 90million in the summer with another 20million left back on loan. I bet other teams invested well too. I'm not sure what I'm talking about here as I may be picking up fag ends, but injecting 4/5 quality players is going to cost 90-100million. We'd need them too—striker (x2?), right wing, (I'd say left wing too as we can't solely rely on El Ghazi, who looks good at times but can be inconsistent in the Championship), DM, Left back, maybe a keeper. We'd have to sign Mings, Tuanzebe, Hause too. We could probably do with another midfielder for competition's sake.

The lack of goals must be playing on his mind. I'm sure he's desperate to score. In my experience that's a good recipe to stop scoring. He has so much potential and I'll give him the benefit of the doubt—he comes so close so often and he will obviously be a true weapon if he sorts it out.

I genuinely had my mouth hanging wide open in shock when I read this. I had to check the name of the poster. Then I had to remember his stance on Dean Smith. Now I look at his preaching about Elmo. I can't make it all add up to anything that seems consistent. He had a good game last night, Elmo. He's looked mostly great in this good run with a few exceptions.

By the same token, Hourihane in the DM role was responsible for a couple of goals just after Christmas. I think one of them was against QPR. Some of our players are very important—I like Hourihane's stats but my eyes tell me he's not up there with our top players. Whelan is playing well at the moment.
