Elphick over Samba for me Clive. Yes Elphick's been poor for us but every fibre of my being clenches when Samba has the ball at his feet.

I wonder where his pay off (albeit only a year's salary) would leave us with FFP, given it sounds like we're right on the line. We should do it regardless as we still have players to sell in January but I hope it's not stopping us.

When he came in he obviously instilled much needed grit and organisation that we were lacking under RDM, but it's now coming at the expense of any attacking movement and creativity. I still feel like we're pretty solid but it's individual mistakes turning 0-0s into defeats. (It says a lot about the standard of this league that no matter how bad we've been we're rarely more than a goal down). The games we have been winning have relied on individuals pulling something out of a hat. Second half at Brighton aside, I never feel like we're knocking on the door under Bruce. It's very difficult to get attacking freedom back when your primary focus is discipline and being hard to beat. I wish there were other answers than having to sign new players all the time but it's painfully clear things can only change with better quality midfielders. At least it sounds like Bruce and the club agree.

Agree that Albrighton needs to play in a 4-4-2 and the lack of left sided options makes that difficult. Fulham played us very well. Proves again that if you let us pass the ball around the back four and midfield, we're mostly harmless.

Fantastic result. Our gameplan was the only real option we had with the way Southampton play, but I didn't quite expect it to go so well! I'm glad we seem to finally be learning the dark arts as well. We look as though we're able to win nasty if we have to, as we showed running down the last couple of minutes of injury time with a bit of handbags. It's happened against us all too often in the past, about time we got a bit streetwise.

While I like what Macron have done so far with their designs, I haven't been buying their shirts due to sizing. I bought Small when we had Nike shirts and they fit me perfect but the Macron ones seem to be that bit bigger, yet the biggest junior size is too small for me I'd like to see XS sizes next year if the sizing stays the same.

Really don't see why people are reading anything into his scoring record. If you're playing in a struggling team that isn't creating chances, how do you go and score 20+ goals? There's much more to a player's potential than stats. As others have said, low risk and we're always moaning when other teams manage to find good lower league players.
