Same thing in the gf's garden. Not fluent but I at least try to make an effort to speak their language while visiting their country, but dont know a word of german... Eep.

what language do they speak in zurich? interweb tells me french, german, english and italian. i thinks it'll be german on the whole - is it entirely german speaking though? or will i get away with speaking french?

After my stag do I was dropped off in the middle of nowhere in just my boxers to walk home - i think it was about 3 miles but felt like a lot further.

To be fair, football studies would be a serious waste of time and money for you... Try sports science at UWIC - top course, and chances are with your footballing background you'd be a shoe in, and make the Uni's first team who play in the Welsh League.

I do - but out of those I'm still in contact with who I graduated with, I'm the only one. Most have gone into teaching or post graduate study.
