Do we think the alleged Bailey money is as well as the ESR money or instead of? I was hoping it was ‘as well as’ but not so sure now. As Bailey tends to play on the right Buendia style it would imply he’s moving inside to be our No10. If we’re after another attacker (as well as Bailey) can we get Cherki out of Lyon please.

IMHO I think we need the clone of both Luiz and Nakamba as our DCM. Someone who can offer progressive carries of the ball from deep into the opponents half/attacking third. We need someone who can nick the ball and then drive us forward, either by progressing the ball themselves or by having passing skills to make a counter attacking pass. So we would then have the ability to counter should Watkins or Buendia press effectively but also if our opponents beat our initial press and the ball gets further into our own half. Neither Luiz or Nakamba are that player (at the moment). We need an Anguissa, Caqueret or Tchouameni for this role.

I’d keep Marc full stop. He’s good at breaking up play and will be on the bench should we get a Kamara or similar (which I think we should). He’s also young enough to be around for a bit should we have our eye on one or two of our youngsters stepping up. Could Raikhy be that moving forward or Lindley or even Dom Revan as I know he’s played DM on the odd occasion? For me we’re crying out for someone who can break up play but then do something with it.

I’ve got the AVFC app (is that what was meant or is there a specific AVTV app?) and it has all the half-time vids there as well as the highlight stuff too. It doesn’t have the option to watch the live stuff though, which I found a bit odd really. For the Walsall game I tried to watch it via the PS4 and on the big TV downstairs but it just buffered like hell and was that bad I ended up watching it on the phone in the end. Agree though the commentary was class

I think the Bailey link might just be agent driven, top player though so would be happy if it happened. His position is normally on the right though isn’t it so that makes me question the link a bit. I personally would love Paqueta as a No10 but due to contract length not sure that’s a goer. Other names that I’m hoping we’re looking at…. Youngsters/diamonds in the rough….Wirtz, Cherki, Mandueke, Alvarez Starters…Bailey, Nkunku, Kamada, Daka’s strike partner at Salzburg (can’t remember his name, Koita or something - he might be injured though), Malen, Golovin, Muriel. Not all achievable but I’m hoping we’d be looking at players of this ilk.

If we’re looking at Bailey in the Bundesliga I hope we’re also looking at the likes of Nkunku, Wirtz, Reyna and Kamada too

I want him to do really well (I think he will excel) in our fluid attacking style of play, really push De Paul stats wise and force his way into the National team. He’s a brilliant little player, Carbone on steroids, a squeaky voiced Merson, love him already and want his path to go the same as others that have joined our club recently in getting national team recognition, such as Watkins, Mings, Emi 1, and of course the soon to be capped Targett, Cash and Konsa.

I think the Kappa logo and badge position point to it being a fake as you’d thing they’d be positioned between the clarets lines, not over them. Something like this would be nice though.

Have nothing against the kid but there’s better value out there for the money Burnley would want. Buendia is a good example, Burnley would want more than what we paid Norwich for him and no way is McNeil better than Buendia. If we’re after a classic winger we already have one in Ashley Young, granted he’s 36 and not 21 but he can cross a ball better than most and if we want to go that way we could move Grealish inside and have Young and Targett on the left.

I think if Konsa could improvise on his distribution and passing stats he’d have a good crack at Maguire as I think Konsa’s ceiling is higher personally. It would be nice (with our alledged Set Piece Coach coming in) to get his goals tally up a bit as well as he’s good in the air too.
