I have to admit I’m a bit If he signs…great, if he doesn’t….not really that fussed to be honest as I think there’s better value in Europe, especially for the 35-40M reported.

He seems to be the next big thing there so would be good to get a player that many are tipping for huge success. At that price it’s not really a gamble as what does 6-9M buy you here? There’s not a lot of data on him though as he hasn’t played an awful lot. If our current recruitment team like him, I like him.

Based on nothing other than ESR’s age and the fact there’s been nothing other than one overseas link, not sure this one has legs personally. Would love to be proved wrong though as he’s a baller. Bicycle or scissor kicks anyone?!? I’d like Paqueta at Lyon personally, only 23 and starting to get some real recognition in the Brazil team.

I think a new No10 is nailed on, whoever it might be. They’ll be supported by Chuk, perhaps A Ramsay too in the cup games. I think the talk of Alvarez is to have cover for the ST/FW position due to suspensions and as a safety net for Wesley’s return. I think a DM is next on our agenda, mainly to give us strategic scope for certain games. I know Nakamba did well and is a great pro but basically him with better passing/creativity stats. Then all we’d really need is CB cover. I’d like more granted but that’s how I see it.

He’d fit in well with Sanson in the middle too as they played together at OM

Not for about 16 years or so. More Fbref, Transfermkt and YouTube surfing than anything really. Out of the above I’d love Paqueta or Kamada as our No10, as well as Dahoud and perhaps Gouiri as back up to Watkins. Both Caqueret and Kamara are only young so one of them I think would be nice for the DM slot. Another pacy option up top would be good to mix it up a bit as well (Nkunku)

It might just be me seeing a dodgy angle of him when playing but does anyone else think that he looks to carry a bit of extra weight, aka McGinn. Some people just do I guess, just thought it interesting as I know McGinn has struggled at times fitness wise, ESR might be the same.
