  1. Anyone moan about ayew not passing can **** off.
  2. What's with this constant passing back to the keeper? i hate it.
  3. I was really disappointed in his decisions today. We go a goal down, and he changes nothing. Just stand by and watch wave after wave of West Ham pressure. Playing 4-5-0 Defending a 1-0 losing score line. That's a first.
  4. Its his tactical naivety that really worries me. I'm still reeling from the Leicester debacle. Utterly bizarre. I don't care what kind of football we play for the next 2-3 seasons. Just need a steady ship, because relegation would be a disaster, and recovery these days is not a routine thing. My vote is get Allardyce in. Sort out the mess. Then move on.
  5. To be fair, I am being harsh I think. I'm just so pissed off with how shit we are, and I blame this cheesy **** for everything.
  6. Contrary to popular belief, it was not Sherwood that kept us up, it was Benteke's timely return to form. Benteke's timely return to form fortuitously coincided with Sherwood's arrival? Coincidence - I don't think so. Well I do.
  7. Contrary to popular belief, it was not Sherwood that kept us up, it was Benteke's timely return to form. Much like Sherwood claiming he's never at fault, it seems we have a knack of claiming he's never in the right. He undoubtedly played a big part in a] getting Benteke back to form and b] keeping us up. If we were relegated, it would be entirely because of Sherwood, not Benteke et al. I'm not sure you know. It's not like Benteke was a sack o' shite under Lambert though is it? He scored 20 odd goals in one season under Lambert. He was injured. For a long time. We kept losing games because we couldn't score. He came back, not fully fit. Lambert got sacked. Benteke got fitter. He started scoring goals. We won a few games, drew a few games. We stayed up. Meanwhile, Sherwood was playing N'Zogbia and Cole instead of Gil. Meh.. Maybe you're right. Sherwood kept us up by saying "Christian, don't worry about what the world thinks... you're a **** GREAT striker."

  9. Agree, had more mistakes in him than Baker, and that's saying something.
  10. Because apparently Sir Fergie said he was good.
  11. Allardyce. No other option at all as far as I'm concerned. Get him in, steady the ship for 3 seasons, then move on. And do it before Sunderland do... otherwise they will stay up, and we won't.
  12. We got 99 problems... but Gestede aint one.
  13. Im very confused about the criticism Rudy gets. From what I saw - he was by far our best player yesterday. Scored 2 goals, defended better than one of our central defenders. Made some lovely touches up front. And he gets blasted again. He may be "limited" - but he's a lot less limited than the rest of our strikers put together. Our best player yesterday.
  14. Me either. He's a complete headless chicken with little to no end product. What might be a useful contribution from a complete headless chicken? And how can a chicken be complete with no head? Well, if the rest of him is complete, then he is indeed a 'complete headless chicken', but an 'incomplete chicken'.
  15. I don't mind if he walks out in three or four years time. It means that he has done well. I much prefer that to him being sacked after 1 yr - cus that means he was shit and we had another crap season.
  16. Heard this on talksport yesterday... would be really disappointed with this.
  17. Lets clear one thing up. Randy is no Branson or Sugar. Randy did not MAKE billions He was just lucky enough to be born into a family where he inherited a fortune, and an already successful business which is more than likely just looking after itself by the infrastructure put into place long before he had anything to do with it. There are probably extremely astute, and highly qualified people working for the company who make all the decisions that continue the success of the company. This is a far cry from what is happening at Aston Villa. He has people running the club/advising him about how to run it who have no idea about football. He takes advice from someone who has no interest in the future of Aston Villa with regards to who he should appoint as manager? (SAF on AML) How pathetic. A GOOD businessman finds people who know the business to run the business. A GOOD businessman doesn't ask his competitors about what is good for his own business. A GOOD businessman doesn't upset his clients by doing exactly what they don't want. The man may have good intentions - but he clearly has NO clue.
