I didn't even know Gestede was on the pitch in the 2nd half. We really need to ship out Hutton and Cissokho. But to be honest the club have a losing mentality and while the losers from last season are still here i fear things are not going to get better! We should have had a penalty and Wednesday down to 10 men but that about sums it up.

Benitez decided to stay tho, he could have gone thinking the Championship was beneath him, but he has stayed. Im not disputing RDM credentials. He is my preferred choice. I have just had enough of people ( mostly at work) that Villa should be grateful for any manager showing an interest because the fans are on the managers back after a bad result. What makes Newcastle so big? Anyway let's hope this does not draw on much longer, its going to be a tough job as it is.

How on earth did he keep a clean sheet? I suppose not having the chuckle brothers in front of him helped, would still expect a misplaced goalkick or been beaten to a ball by a 5ft player resulting in a goal!

What would the point of loaning him be? If he doesn't want to stay sell him! We can use that money to find a replacement!

Hopefully we can persuade him to stay, he has plenty of potential, but if the big clubs come calling we have no hope of keeping him.

I am not alone in thinking Pearson not all that. I decided to ask people in the office what they thought of Pearson as a manager. Nearly everyone i spoke to at work yesterday said he is vastly overrated, a Forest fan and a Leeds fan said they would not like him been their manager!
