My phoned buzzed with a notification of a disallowed goal, I said to the wife that villa were going to have a goal disallowed 30 seconds later the radio caught up, she looked at me and said you should do the lottery haha!!

What i am worried about is if we go 1 or 2 down, which lets not kid ourselfs this squad is poor, the crowd will start getting on the players back and it will become a hostile environment! We know some of these players are dog turd but we do have a couple of new signings in that team, we dont want to tar them with the same brush.

Where did this notion come from that Richard's could play CB?! I have been better positional play and speed from Sunday league players who have been on the lash the night before!

No the players heads went as soon as Luton scored. The 2nd half Villa just reverted back to how they played last season, bloody awful, the subs were questionable! We bought Gestede on and he never saw the ball! Why bring a player on if your not going to play to his strength! Going to be a long season.

I was waiting for this thread. If this is the squad for the season then i think we will be in or around the bottom of the table. The players confidence is shot.

i dont think 50 million is going to fix this shambles! This is an absolute poor squad and i would say we need 8-9 new players. Not going to do anythink while we have the likes of Hutton,Richards etc in the side!

Still blame Lerner! He made the mess! 5 years of poor decisions and lack of investment! This wont be fixed overnight. Its a big job, the club needs knocking down and built up again.
