    Louie Barry

He's too old for Adam Johnson comparisons.
  2. Was just looking for a chat about what you thought about their game was fantastic. No drama if you don't want to. No need for the flippant response either, but each to their own. Have a nice evening mate.
  3. Why do you think they were fantastic? They barely beat a team with missing two of its three best players, (Harden was woeful) and its three point machine having an absolute mare. Bucks should have been comfortably the better team. Holiday was poor apart from a streak at the end, PJ Tucker gave up 40+ points on Durant again whilst offering nothing in offence, Middleton was okay. Giannis of course was brilliant and Pat Connaughton gave some good minutes, but overall, they scraped it. I reckon if Durant's feet were two sizes smaller Bud is looking for a new job today.
  4. https://www.espn.co.uk/olympics/basketball/story/_/id/31680974/miami-heat-bam-adebayo-commits-play-usa-tokyo-olympics-agent-says Some serious players heading over there. Bam Adebayo, Dame, Devin Booker, Jayson Tatum, Bradley Beal, Draymond Green. I've read that Steph wants in too. Not quite the dream team, but not far off!
  5. Cheers @hornso. My son and I stayed up and watched the game, finishing at 0545! The game was lost in James Harden being too laissez faire with the ball and Joe "Joey Buckets" being utterly abysmal from three. I think this did evidence that if healthy, the Nets would have won the Championship this year, but all teams have had health issues. Next year is the one! Really pleased for the Bucks though. Obviously the Villa connection is great, but also for the way they have constructed this team. Giannis sticking with them when the vultures were circling, (Miami, I'm looking at you!), is also a great story. I'd like to see Phoenix win it now. A brilliant story for CP3. Giannis will have many more opportunities, I'm not sure CP3 will.
  6. And with the Olympics this year, many won't get rest this summer either.
  7. Good player? Check. Knows the place and seamless transistion into the squad? Check. Cheap? Check. (No transfer fee bitchezzzz). Absolute no brainer for me.
  8. Elmo did too. #PrayForSpoonysMemory. @Spoony.
  9. Just an analogy mate, he's going nowhere. (If he did go somewhere, I'd welcome him back though!)
  10. If Jack moves on to Citeh this summer, decides he made a mistake and wants to come back next summer. Does "he moved on, we should have moved on" still ring true?
  11. If Nets get through this, the Championship is theirs. (It's so refreshing for one of the teams I support to actually be good!)
  12. Hey OBE! Great that you're doing this, thanks for opening it out to us. Can you please ask if the club will continue with the Claret Club Memberships? Cheers.
  13. This is absolutely mental. Like, proper bat shit kray.
  14. Great interview on the villa website. He seems really excited for the move. (And I love that Emi Mk1 **** Arsenal over). One thing in the interview that made me laugh... he comments on playing at Villa Park for Norwich when in the Premier League, mentions the amazing atmosphere. I was at that game. Boxing Day. I'd go as far as saying our worst performance of the season, the crowd were as flat as the players and although we won, I was resigned to us getting relegated after that game. It was THAT bad. So, imagine how he'll feel at an engaged Villa Park!
  15. Jack as captain of Villa, lifting the FA Cup at Wembley, qualifying for Europe. You don't want to see that? You don't think Jack wants that?
  16. Ah class! I loved the Pistons chapters of the MJ documentary. Love to see a bit of aggro, steel and skill in a team. Although Blake is doing well now, I think it was the right thing for Detroit to buy him out. He'd gone stale at Detroit and gives the youngsters much more chance to learn the ropes.
  17. Basketball is one of the sports that really needs the fans. I think its the indoor environment and the glamour of the event. Tennis as an example I don't think fans make a massive difference. For the Nets, so pleased to see Blake back to near his best. Bruce Brown is a miracle. Mike James, the European journeyman a marvel and Joey Buckets, the best 4th man in the NBA? I don't get to watch many games due to time difference, but Nets v Bucks is Sunday at 2000, I'm excited for it! Whose your team Hornso?
  18. Neves was captaining Porto in the Champions League. Is this kid captaining his team in the Champions League?
