  1. He's going to be an absolute monster this season. My loudest cheer on Saturday will be for Tyrone. Captain Tyrone, obvs.
  2. The sooner this is moved to off topic, the sooner we can focus on the future and the sooner we can focus on Man City at home, the better. He didn't care about us, the sooner we don't care about him the better.
  3. We'll be a transformed club, for the better, whether Jadk is here or not.
  4. Yeah, like not signing a sixyear contract.
  5. I'm really surprised this hasn't generated more interest amongst fans. I pencilled it in the calendar as soon as it was announced! Maybe general sale will give numbers a big boost.
  6. Or he requests a transfer, knowing it forgoes his loyalty bonus, thus Villa get 100% of the transfer fee.
  7. My take... The timelines are different. Jack needs / wants Champions League football now, in the peak of his career. Villa do too, but we're a decade behind City, United, Chelsea and Liverpool. An NBA team who gets first pick in the draft, generally does so because they were the worst team the previous year. The first pick might be a generational talent, who wants to win it all. Realistically it will take that team a long time to build a roster around him to be able to compete with the mainstays of the league. We can't move forward as fast as Jack needs us too. Our progress has been phenomenal since NSWE came in, but this step up now to consistent European football will be the hardest and take the longest. Jack doesn't have the same amount of time to waste. If he goes, I dont blame him. We're both on upward trajectories, his is just faster than ours. Chukwumeka, Ramsey x 2, Barry and Bidace might be the right players, at the right time, to grow with us. Not out grow us. Time will tell.
  8. Or there's nothing to see here, so no need to comment. The sheer volume of people stating things are fact, when it's just their opinion, is astonishing.
  9. If he leaves, I hope we see a **** massive "our club, our city, our home" flag hanging in the Holte.
  10. If City are willing to pay £100,000,000 million for him then his injury record is irrelevant. My own point is mooted!
  11. A welcome break to the ridiculous Jack meltdown, I might make NBA chat my VT diet for the summer! So pleased for the Pistons to get Cade. Alongside the other young talent they have, they are looking really promising for years to come. Chuffed for you @Hornso! But, what an absolute win for the Orlando Magic! Picks 5 & 8 got them two really promising players. They deserve some luck I think. My Nets had a great draft too. Picked up a scorer to take some minutes when one or two of the three superstars are inevitably injured. Roll on 21/22!
  12. "My club, my city, my home". Now is the test of that I guess. Easy to say when there isn't another option like this on the table.
  13. The point is that there is more than one way to succeed. Go the Leicester way - sell a player for massive money and reinvest well, consistently.
  14. Devils's advocate... £100,000,000+ for a player who has missed a third of three of the last four seasons. Youngsters coming through who can try to take on the mantle as our Home Grown Hero, and £100,000,000+ to spend on new players. Taking off the Grealish glasses, there are slim positives to this. (He's staying though, contract will be signed next week).
  15. This. He's staying. This is where we show the entire **** world the Lion is roaring again.
  16. He's the captain of Villa, a fan of Villa and he scored in that game. Of course he'd interact with it. He's not leaving though.
