  1. Im looking forward to the possibility of Spurs relying on Arsenal winning the Champions League. Talksport will have a field day
  2. United should win most of their remaining games - Bournemouth A, Sheffield United H, Burnley H, Palace A are their next 4. Arsenal H and Brighton A are the last 2, with a rearranged home game with Newcastle still to be scheduled. They should be getting at least 3 wins from the next 4.
  3. Liverpool should be at least 3 ahead here
  4. Linesman is 2 metres away from Maguire mauling Salah to the ground there, looking right at him
  5. United look so open at the back - gaps everywhere
  6. They wont go down - Cardiff have been rubbish for weeks now, they'll beat Rotherham too. 6 points might well be enough, but they'll probably scrape a win at Huddersfield as well.
  7. I often wonder, do any Villa fans go onto opposition message boards and say hello ahead of when we've played European games this season? I think it's a nice touch, although that Legia guy was a bit of a tool - symptomatic of his fanbase I suppose. I like Lille, they're probably my French team although I do quite like Marseille and Nantes. Anyway, allez (allez allez) le Villa.
  8. Never mind top 4, they're going to be lucky to qualify for Europa League at this rate - Newcastle, West Ham, Brighton and Chelsea will all fancy overtaking them
  9. Man Utd 1-0 down. Onana will probably ensure us a top 5 finish
  10. If you'd said that we'd go into any Premier League game with that line-up/injury list then I think we'd all have been concerned, so to have it at the Etihad borders on terrifying, even with Haaland and KDB on the bench. Bringing Chambers on to lumber around in midfield sums up how bereft we are. At least SJM is back now. I thought we did very well up until we had the 2 chances in quick succession to make it 2-2 (Luiz and the header from the resulting corner). More positives than negatives
  11. Yeah, they've been fortunate to have gone out of both cups early as well (as have we, frustrating as it was). Im not sure they'll cope well with Europe, cups and league next season playing that way. Could end up being next season's Newcastle with a load of injuries
  12. Question about long term CL qualification - presumably UEFA are having this qualification system every season? So 5th might be enough every season if English teams are in the top 2 coefficient?
  13. Didn't get booked yesterday, the guy clearly can't be arsed
  14. How the hell have Brentford not scored?
  15. What minute are United going to get their completely undeserved winner then? I'll go 84th
  16. You aren't supposed to enter or leave the field without an officials consent - it's a bookable offence. There's "easier" ways to get a yellow though - kick the ball away, pull a shirt, delay a restart etc
  17. The only thing more rattled than I am is the back of John Ruddy's net
  18. They're different level clubs, but I'd imagine Man City and Arsenal aren't saying "it's still not Maine Road/Highbury though is it?" despite the obvious emotional attachment fans would have had (and probably still do). Spurs possibly different as they haven't been there long and, well, they haven't won anything.
  19. Couple of fines for Digne should sort that
  20. Really poor goalkeeping there, followed the ball across goal and lost her positioning - if she'd taken 2 or 3 steps less she'd have saved that comfortably, which is a shame as she'd made 2 really good saves beforehand. 1-3 now - how is that not a handball?!
  21. That's a good deal for us. The BK8 deal isnt due to expire though is it? Was only signed last summer, and it was stated it was a front of shirt deal...
