  1. Difficult one because i change my mind all the time. God Bless America Timecrimes Amores Perres 21 Grams Babel The Motorcycle diaries run lola run sin nombre la misma luna Thats only 9 that come to mind
  2. He looks the part in an England shirt. Many players come in and look a shadow of what they are for their clubs. That isn't the case with Delph.
  3. Yes but what you are doing here is insulting the intelligence of people who vote for UKIP. I'm not a fan myself but I think we should respect peoples rights to vote for who they wish. He isn't disrespecting their right to vote who they wish, he is mocking their lack of anything remotely close to knowledge or understanding of the policies of the party they are voting for which is entirely different and fair game. He was making out UKIP voters are thick, that sort of attitude only makes more people vote for UKIP.
  4. Its good for a small nation like San Marino to play at Wembley. There players will never ever forget the experience but it is a non event...

  6. We are really going to need Milners defensive work aren't we. Whatever its just a mismatch of a game. opportunity for Welbeck or Rooney to emulate David Platt and Malcolm Macdonald.
  7. If three England players were involved in that parody twitter account, and they deny it, then yes I think its as bad as what KP did with those texts to South African players. Both are disloyal and caused bad vibes in the dressing room. KP is obviously difficult to get on with but thats what the England management team are there for to manage him. To me its shows how immature and pampered modern cricketers are. Its school playground stuff isn't it.
  8. No Delph no watch!. unless he is still carrying an injury then its wrong to leave him out after his performance against Switzerland.
  9. loved the first two but not the last one myself
  10. If they ever did a film or a remake of Only fools and horses with a new cast that would be annoying.
  11. Same here! I can go without a beer for ages but once i start i cant stop.
  12. I've come to realise he's never going to be that good. I like his workrate but apart from that and a bit of pace he doesn't have anything exceptional.
  13. It was popular in the era it was in but like Steptoe and son and others of that era will it really work now! The cast looks good. Tom Courtenay as Jones stands out to me. Not sure about Toby Jones as Captain Manering. Don't anything about Blake Harrison but Ian Lavender is a hard act to follow. To be honest its doomed for failure! You can never recreate a classic comedy even as a film
  14. No one was at all interested in Bannan or Albrighton. I think there are a lot of clubs keeping a very close eye on Jack. And Albrighton and Bannan were on the money people are lumping Jack on thinking a young boy should just be happy to be playing football in the premier league, without his market value and circumstance reflected in his wages. Ok, even I wouldn't condone that. About £15k-£20k is reasonable. And stop talking about reasonable. None of this is reasonable. He's a 19 year old who plays football as a job, and you're saying a million pounds a year is 'reasonable'? Say goodbye to reason. This is the premier league There was a time when Barry Bannan ripped the Man Utd team in half in the reserves league. He might have even scored a hat-trick IIRC, so I think at one point, when his stock was high (like Grealish's is now) other teams probably were looking at him and other promising players we had/ have. Also, it's pretty obvious that anyone mentioning 'reasonable' is talking about 'reasonable, in relation to football right now'. If it wasn't, then we'd be discussing 'football vs real life' in every thread. Yep Bannan did get a hatrick against Man U reserves and an exceptional one at that. A player that looked really good under Houllier but never kicked on. I don't know what a 19 year with a few sub appearances is worth but at his age it shouldn't be just about money. He's got a great opportunity to play first team football. If he gets a better offer somewhere else he might just end up like Rodwell.
  15. Yes Swann is a bit of a cheeky chappy. Matt Prior is one I have never really warmed to. Can't knock his test record but he comes across as an aggressive individual.
  16. Yes I listened to the 5 live interview with KP today. He's not the self confident person that we assume. He was very nervous before he came out to bat. He thought Prior and Swann were particulary harsh on young players when fielding. There was a instance when Trott blew his top with Prior. Two sides to every story I know but its ashame its come to this. No doubt KP was the greatest batsman England have had since maybe Boycott and maybe things could have been managed better.
  17. Probably 7 pints but I can do without it to be honest. No good for your health. Seen too many people die because of alcohol consumption. Sorry to be a killjoy!
  18. I don't really disagree but until such time as technology can completely control access to TV and Radio to those who pay their license then it will remain an imperfect system but one that I for one am more than happy to contribute to. I generally feel that a lot of objectors to the license fee significantly down play or under estimate the amount which they access BBC content (TV, Website and Radio) in a year. To me its good value, its a national institution and one I think everyone should contribute to and help sustain. Yes it does represent great value for money when you consider all the radio stations as well as the diversity of coverage and no annoying adverts as well.
  19. Yes haven't see it in years... Sean Penn is one of my fav actors as well.
  20. Yes i'll be happy with a point at Everton tbh. They'll be all out for a win after such a poor start to the season.
  21. Yes but not just talking about that game. I don't rate Richardson either. A journeyman footballer.
  22. Yes I think the top 7 will finish in this order myself Chelsea Man City Arsenal Man U Liverpool Spurs Everton
  23. unless you never watch BBC1/BBC2 or listen to BBC Radio. I basically only watch American series, films. with a bit of E4, ITV2, CH4, More4, music channels, and sports. MOTD & Top Gear may be the only 2 interactions with the BBC i ever have, both watched on catch-up (never live). i really shouldn't bother having a tv licence should i? Yes. It is irrelevant how frequently you watch it, you watch it and that requires a license. It is like saying you don't need car insurance because you only drive now and then. Yes I know the two things are vastly different but the principle is the same, its a requirement for accessing the service so regardless of how frequently you access it then yes you should have to pay. What I am against its the lack of choice. If you choose to only watch the other channels and not BBC then you shouldn't be forced to pay a license fee. Basically if you buy a tv you are required to give your address and the tv licensing people will come after you. I'm not saying the BBC don't offer a good service but its a bit of an outdated institution going back to the days when you could only get BBC and ITV.
  24. no it always ask you if you have a license when you are watching live tv but not on catchup.
