He has to serve 1/6 off his sentence in prison and if he meets certain conditions he can serve the rest of his sentence under house arrest, excluding what he gets for parole. The prosecution will almost certainly appeal the lightness of the sentence. The defence won't appeal for obvious reasons, I thought the judge was very thorough in the reasons behind the length of the sentence but can't help feeling that too much consideration was given to the vunerability of Pistorius and not enough consideration for the victim or her family. How vunerable is he. We are talking about a man who had the strength of will to come back from adversity and comepete against able bodied men in the Olympics.

Our opening 8 games last season were fairly similar and we are currently doing worse. I have highlighted in bold those teams that people consider to be 'top' teams. Arsenal (Away) Chelsea (Away) Liverpool (Home) Newcastle United (Home) Norwich City (Away) Manchester City (Home) Hull City (Away) Tottenham Hotspur (Home) Yet compared to the actual corresponding fixtures from last season compared to this one we are 3 points better off. Is it me or out of those fixtures we have only played Man City (h), Newcastle (h) and Chelsea (a) so we are 2 points worse off

10 years older though! Barry was hugely talented when we signed him as a youngster from Brighton and he when he first broke into the side at 16/17 I thought wow this kid can play but I don't think he was that highly rated by villa fans when he first played in central midfield under Taylor. It wasn't until Oneill that we started seeing the best of him. Not sure Westwood will ever be as good but he has time.

Both are wingers really, just that Albrighton is so much better.

I think they will be found out against the better sides, but fair play to them, they have sold their best players and to be where they are is miraculous. Good management, playing the game the right way unlike what is served up by Villa.

Last season Albrighton offered a lot more than what Richardson does.

I don't want to judge him too much because he's just come back from a horrible injury. Like Benteke he's going to need time to get back to his best. Maybe he hasn't done it consistently over his whole career but at least he has the ability to do it which is more than can be said for most of our squad.
