  1. On a tangent, this is how I see the week in my mind's eye (well more or less. In my head 12 o'clock is the line between Sunday and Monday, and the clock is halved between weekdays and the weekend i.e. Saturday and Sunday take up the left half of the clock) And it works like a clock too throughout the day. So when I think about Friday evening, i envisage it as about 5:30 on a normal clock. Monday morning is about 12:30. Utterly boring information but I'm curious if other people do the same? I blame a jigsaw puzzle that I had when I was younger which set the week out as I've described.
  2. Just started season 5 of Breaking Bad. I suppose it's alright
  3. I scored a lovely goal in 6 aside last night. Not in a dream, but in real life. We lost, but it was a beauty. ANyway, I then dreamed that I'd done it playing for Villa in the FA Cup and had settled down on the sofa to watch the highlights. They showed them, but omitted my goal. I was furious, and threw my television out of the window into my pond (I don't have a pond)
  4. Cut started yesterday. Feel good about the muscle I put on since September. Feel like I made more progress in terms of size than I did last year when I was bulking on MC5x5. I think 5x5 is great for strength but maybe not so good for size (although obviously to an extent one relies on the other) We'll see how it goes over the next few months. 4 months until my first beach holiday of the year (17 weeks) so hopefully I'll be in decent shape by then. I've loaded up on BCAAs and pre supps to hold onto more of the strength this time around than I did last year
  5. watching this on I player atm 30mins in and I've barely heard anyone talk... just looking around and intense staring and awkward silence. That really doesn't matter.
  6. I'm 28 and still don't consider myself an adult. Seriously. Maybe it's some sort of condition. Gives you quite an inferiority complex, especially at work.
  7. Don't think Giroud is injured. He was ill on the weekend. Physically he's apparently fit.
  8. I hope thats true. Hoolahan is **** dreadful Have you ever watched him play? He's far from dreadful. No he's not a world beater but he certainly isn't dreadful. He'd walk into our midfield.
  9. I watched the first 20 minutes or so of August Underground. Disgusting.
  10. He has back-tracked on his original premise though. Clearly even he doesn't believe in the 'young and hungry' project anymore so why should we? I think he probably does still think along his original lines, but realises the side is lacking an experienced head or two. No surprise to me that he would return to what he knows. But rewind to when he stayed up last season and he was very triumphant about 'sticking to his guns' and not 'caving into the pressure' of buying experience. His admission that experience is needed has completely undermimed any credibility he may have had. Its really a lose lose situation he's in with some people isn't it? I mean, im not happy with Lambert regarding the last couple of months, its not been good enough. But if he was still sticking to his guns and buying young inexperienced players, people like you would be moaning that he needs to buy experience. But he's apparently realised he needs an experienced head or two and you're still moaning, even though he's now doing what you wanted. Is there anyone he could buy this window that would actually make you happy?
  11. Can understand why people are a little ubderwhelmed by this but I actually think Hoolahan is a pretty good player. Not a massive signing by any means but I certainly don't think he'd be a bad one
  12. We'll replace it with "Villaajax hates the tories" then. You DO bring that up... He's hardly the only one to do that. i genuinely wish he was
  13. I see what you did there. Oh. I'm not sure I do! Oh, OK, I take it back then. His autobiography is published by Penguin Classics (a fact which really boils my piss). Puffin is the childrens' imprint of Penguin Books, so I assumed you were making play on that. Oh shit, that's incredibly witty. I was just testing you. I totally did mean it!!
  14. We'll replace it with "Villaajax hates the tories" then. You DO bring that up...
  15. I see what you did there. Oh. I'm not sure I do!
  16. How long until the next ashes. As long as the answer is more than 2 years then it will be something that cheers me up. Obviously what would really cheer me up would be if they just decided to cancel cricket. Forever.
  17. I've called women "good girl" before. But with the only intention being to wind them up
  18. Sega Saturn is better than N64 is the stupidest thing that's ever been written on this forum outside of the Barry bannan thread
  19. this might be my favourite post ever.
  20. His autobiography is published by puffin classics
  21. Pics of the bridesmaids or GTFO.sub standard. I wouldn't be keeping up my reputation of posting girls from real life if I posted these birds.
  22. Weirdly, the google now widget has now started working, but if I click on it to open google now, it doesn't work.
  23. Of course I did (I'd have been furious if I didn't because it was easily the best)
