I can't imagine them having many players on 50k+ . I could be wrong. We have Ireland, Bent, Nzogbia Given all on hefty wages. They probably have Fellaini, Baines? I dunno, would be interesting to compare Villa's wage bill to Everton's. Is anyone else getting sick and tired with worrying about wages? haha.

Petrov had a great debut but was pretty shocking after that for a number of years. To say "we knew he had something in his locker" is just bollocks. Considering you're one of Irelands biggest haters on this forum, we know he has something "in his locker" from Man City days but you're hell bent on him not playing. Far far far too early to judge KEA. Some players need time to adapt to the pace of the league.

Yep. Him coming out and addressing the fans is pointless because there's nothing he can really say. He obviously believes in Lambert, he obviously thinks what he's doing is right. He's said we've tried to sign players but they've not materialised, same as Lambert. There's nothing he could say to really please the fans, because the only thing which he can do to please the fans (Sack Lambert or spend more money) he's not willing to do. It's a pointless statement.

I think money for transfers was always there. Unfortunately the wages I fear we're offering to players is just not enough. So decent, experienced players will not join.

Yeah it was JulieB. The deal was complete, Dale had bought a house in the area, but the club wouldn't announce it 'cos they were scared of the fans reaction to signing another player from the lower leagues. Like they give a shit what the fans think. -

We need to just forget the start of the season, forget Wembley, forget the FA cup, and just start again. If our young squad are dwelling on previous results we are doomed. Lambert needs to make it perfectly clear to our squad that our season starts with this game. We're currently out the relegation zone and only the players can keep it that way. If we can get that message across to the players and have them playing with confidence, I think we might get a point from this game. Otherwise, I think we might lose 4-0. -
I doubt they will ever do that. Liverpool is an absolute massive club and their yearly income will be far greater than ours.

Well if it's his mentality that he just wants to sell the club without making a loss and he thinks it will be easy to do so when in the Championship then he is an incredibly stupid person. Borderline insane. Though, I suspect he has a vision for the club, the vision is just running in a "worst case scenario" situation currently.
