Started playing this game on Manual now. Division 1 manual is so solid. Cant believe how good some guys are. Is there anyway you can reset the division you're in? Think i need to go back to 10 on manual.

If Warnock leaves on a free, and Hutton leaves on a loan, and we still don't bring anyone in I will be fuming.

The difference is I saw no plan or vision under McLeish. He was going to turn us into another Stoke. Lambert does have a vision, but is failing miserably in his first 6months. If we manage to stay up and reshape the team then I think we will be better for it. Though, if we go down, we're ****, Risky move by Lerner. Very risky. Changing the manager now is not going to fix the problems. Yes Lambert is making some crazy tactical decisions, but maybe he has to try crazy things 'cos our squad is so shit? The narrow formation he likes to play really does depend on the players between the lines, a decent DM and a decent AMC. We have neither. So he looks like a man trying to find something that works.

There's absolutely no excuse for it. I find the treatment Bannan gets is awful, people shout at him for trying a long ball, people shout at him for passing it normally. The kid can't win. I cant understand why people think he's so bad and hate him so much. He's no worse then any other player, but no one gets abuse like Bannan does. I always imagine the people who constantly slag this kid off are the same ones who boo when we pass it around the back and to the keeper, then boo when we hoof it up to Benteke.

The really frustrating thing for me, is that I really do believe we are a couple of players away from being half decent. We're just so bad in crucial areas of the pitch. Another commanding center back and a defensive midfielder would see us through this IMO. Yes it's something Lambert should have purchased in the Summer, but I assume he thought that KEA would be that DM we need, but it hasn't worked out.

I agree. Whilst there is a rule on this forum where you cant speak about "better fans" etc, I think most people do realise that there are so called "better" fans than others. I will not state who those people are as it's against the rules. But I will say that people who can afford to support the club but choose to "boycott" it purely because of results are certainly not the better fans. There are plenty of reasons to stop supporting your club, but because your club aren't winning football matches isn't one of them. That's not being a supporter. You should just go support Man UTD if you have that mentality.

Lambert aint going anywhere, the club wont pay him off because deep down Randy will know that this squad is actually pretty shit. It will be difficult for any manager to come in now and turn things around, and if a manager did come in and doesnt improve things, will they sack him too? Then just keep hiring and firing managers every 6 months? The whole team needs to be rebuilt, and if Lerner wants to stick with this wage structure then relegation will happen, and the rebuilding will be done in the championship.

I don't think the guy is very good but he's not as bad as people make out. Does he deserve his wages? No chance. Does the fact he's extremely over-paid and an average player make him "lazy"? No.

I think confidence is a huge issue. At the start of most games we do not really impose ourselves on the game, it's like we're just playing "safe" football till either they score, or we score, it's almost like we're waiting for something to react too, rather then just play our own way. I think thats largely comes down to confidence. When we concede first we struggle to get back into it. If we do score first everyone just seems that little bit more confident and wants the ball. Look after we scored against the Baggies, the football and confidence the whole squad was playing with was excellent. It's just a shame they can't continue that form for a whole 90 minutes. Same with the Liverpool game, had we conceded first we would have crumbled (like Wigan), but 'cos we scored we played with confidence.

It was just a load of people on Twitter getting together and making up stories. Then they forgot they made them up and started to believe their own stories.

No I refuse to believe expectation to be too high for survival. The manager has completely failed if we do go down. Our squad is good enough to stay up, Lambert has made many tactical errors to put us into this position. I agree he needs backing now to stay up, but we shouldn't be in this position in the first place. That's down to Lambert.

Surely if Warnock and Hutton both go out then we should be able to get someone in.

I'd give pretty much every half decent player a rest for this game. No Nzogbia, Benteke, Vlaar. Would play Westwood as he should be quite fresh.
