Who would we replace him with? Look around and realistically who could we get and at what cost given his experience. Look at that donkey at Newton Heath that cost £80 million! Joe Gomez mentioned, but his he an upgrade? If other players mentioned on here are deemed good enough, Cash and Targett, then so is Ty for now. Convinced if the full backs are upgraded then Ty and Ezri will benefit greatly.

Acknowledging that he’s only been a full back for 3 years I don’t believe he is learning his lessons. Kenny Swain was similarly converted from a winger in about the same time. Swainy was a class act who didn’t continue to make the same mistakes. Swainy was also excellent going forward with a great cross. However that said our right side with Des Bremner was particularly solid.

Both Mings and Konsa, get pulled out of the middle too often to cover the full backs. This does leave them open to criticism! Remember when Ken McNaught signed and Giddy was at right back. Ken was constantly covering which made him initially look poor, and he got stick primarily has he had replaced Chris Nicholl. Everyone loved Giddy, but Ken improved greatly when Swainy moved to right back!!! Think this will be the same for Ty and Ezra! Whilst mistakes are made it’s sometimes worth reflecting that he’s only been a PL centre half for 2 1/2 seasons!

Both full backs are a problem which Stevie G will need to resolve! Will need replacing if we have top 6 aspirations! Nullifies JJ effectiveness when he’s having to cover and come from deep.

Quality player. Another who will get better and better. Remember he’s only been a PL player for 2 1/2 seasons! He will go far in the game… hopefully with us!!!

For me, and it has been for many years, why are we continually doing the selling job of our best players to other clubs? I get fans concerns, maybe because we have been a selling club, but when does it stop? If not Jack, it’s Ezri Konsa, Emi and this time next year it will be Emi Buendia!!! Are we now accepting that we are a feeder club for the so called ‘big six’ which it appears together case on many forums? When do we get to a position that we trust the owners not to sell our best players? If we have a complete lack of trust then we will never challenge the upper echelons again!!! I believe these feelings are related to the way Ellis and Lerner ran the club. At some point it has to stop! We need to start acting and thinking like the big club we are, and not a selling club. This includes us as fans constantly talking about selling!,,

General K. I have a question about the sale prices on the Vlla Direct on-line store? Why are sale items having their prices constantly increased. I have looked at ordering various items to find they have substantially increased in price. For example the adult track suit bottoms were £17.99. They are now up to £25.99. The adult polo-shirts have risen from £13.99 to £19.99, even the blue baseball caps have now risen an additional £1. Surely in a sale the prices should stay the same? Can you give any reason for the sale price increases?

Got to agree with Ian on this one. That fat b*****d put the boot into the Club this summer. He should be the one dropped. He has to earn the right to wear our shirt. Picking a player who slagged the club off instead of one who said nothing is sending out the wrong message. I ain't happy he put the ball out for Torres. Good evening General. I am absolutely fuming about how my young son & I were treated upon arrival at the ground today. Firstly we are season ticket holders who renewed to the tune of £580 for this season. Our seats are 194 & 195 HH Lower Holte. We arrived at the ground & proceeded to go through turnstile number 25 in the Lower Holte. I placed my sons' card in first & the orange/green light came on. The turnstile would not allow my son through. I stated this to the elderly on duty operator who said the card was not valid & you are not coming in. I said the turnstile is faulty but he was not having any of it. I then tried my card & no lights came up. Yet again the operator said you are not valid & not getting in. Yet again I informed him there must be a fault. He would not listen & stated my son & I would not be getting in. I proceeded to try our cards again & they both worked allowing us in. When I pointed this out to the operator no apology was forthcoming. When inside I complained to a steward who said that turnstile had been playing up & the operator was not the most cooperative. My son & I watched a few other fans trying to get through. They appeared to have the same problem. General, the attitude of the operator was not acceptable to a paying customer. Can you put a system in place that allows at least a steward to check the season ticket cards are valid if such a fault occurs? Also can you do something about that operators attitude? If I spoke to a customer like he did then I would be disciplined. I am not happy tonight.

General, We are in the midst of battle. The early stages have gone well, but we are not pushing on as expected. Ground is difficult to gain & morale is low. Discontent is appearing amongst the rank's & battle plan's are being questioned. No doubt you have been in this situation many times? But as a leader of men you draw on all your powers & deliver a battle cry. A Major Tim Collins, an Henry V speech of such magnitutde & manner that all become uplifted. A united front is shown, all feel unbeatable. The cause once again becomes paramount. I think now is the time to deliver that speech?

General, I am still in awe that we have a Director of AVFC viewing & replying to the fans online. I could probably add a thousand suggestions about how we could improve our great trust, but I have every faith in Randy, yourself & the team. All Villa fan's cried out for change & what as taken place since the takeover is fantastic & a great marker for things to come.
