  1. I'll be surprised if CB does not know how much the club and fans think of him. Please don't worry over these silly things!
  2. Ireland has been on holiday for (insert number of months since his last decent game for us).
  3. You do realise statements make little to no difference?

Could you wait until the end of August before you 'go Con' about my destination this summer?
  5. I can only think the 'national' London media enjoy a good wind-up. I wish the Midlands media would fight back. 'Walker set for Villa move'. After Spurs missed out on CL football Kyle Walker is believed to want a cut price move to the Midlands giant. It is thought that Walker enjoyed his loan season at Villa Park and is now so sick of the cock-er-knee twunts in and around white heart street he is set to activate the clause in his contract enabling a £10k move to any club with a great sounding name.
  6. 'Fear' at our level is a bit of BS, imo. There are only a couple of teams who are good enough to consistently have a home win record that makes visiting teams think 'we are very unlikely to win this game'. I doubt Everton, who only lost once at home in the league last season, created a sense of fear for the visitors. It's unlikely we are about to have two or three consecutive seasons with very few home defeats, so we can aspire to 'fear' but that's all it will be for a while. Besides, fear didn't prevent three teams winning at mold trafford last season.
  7. Exactly that. It's to protect the attendances for the majority of matches (Premiership and league) which kick off on a Saturday at 15:00.
  8. When you visit the 'bathroom', does it have to have a bath in it?
  9. It looks ugly if you're focusing purely on the North Stand, other than that it's a really great looking stadium! meh. the witton lane and north stand look shit IMO 'Shit', really? Where does that leave other stadiums which are undoubtly worse? Shiterer? It increasingly seems that if something isn't good it must be absolutely crap.
  10. When did a public toilet become a 'bathroom' in the UK? Has the room become americanised because it sounds less scummy than doing a line in the bogs?
  11. that picture has just reminded me how bloody ugly it is, its truly awful from the outside The photo is old. It's had a couple of clean ups and new signs. Not being a nice looking building doesn't automatically make it an eyesore.
  12. yillan, in your best 'it's no problem if you do' way, could you ask her if she does coke? I think you will handle the situation better if you know for certain. You may get a more accurate answer if you patch things up for a few days before asking on another night out. If it turns out to be a mood swing unrelated to illegal drugs (possibly alcohol or hormonal), make a mental note of it and wait to see when the next one is. Dealing with very occasional mood swings is one thing; dealing with a coke head or someone that 'goes off on one' every time they have a drink is another.
  13. This thread is almost surreal. I keep expecting a big troll face to appear.
  14. Yes. Though you do need balance as well. I still have memories of a curry I made years ago, where for some reason I ended up with about 15 times the amount of cumin I needed. I think I can taste it still. I can believe that! As nice as a bit of cumin is in many dishes, it is one of the least forgiving spices when over used. I much prefer cumin when it subtly adds to a blend of flavours; definitely not the primary taste!
  15. I think it was because I agreed with your line - it's difficult to give a sensible figure. For what it's worth and just playing the game, I think £35k/week maximum for AW is a figure I would agree with. However, without the full facts, I'm not ready to complain about our ambition if he leaves for a reported £30k/week at another club or he extends his contract with us at £40k/week. If I read a direct quote from AW saying he'd left because we wouldn't match, say Norwich's offer of, £25k/week, I think I'd be concerned! Anyhoo, has anyone heard or read anything, other than negotiation posturing, that points to Andi not renewing?
  16. The Mirror's report lost me at - with a stunning £20m bid. Whether it is true or not, what on earth is stunning about a £20m bid for Benteke? Way too low, perhaps?
  17. Okay John, I'll get right on to it. ;-)
  18. My point is that we don't know the what the finances of Premier League clubs are, let alone what all the managers think of Andi and how much they might want to persuade their Chairman/CEO to offer in a contract. Stating that a player can leave because he isn't worth more than X, but accusing the board of lacking ambition if they offer X - 1, seems pointless. Especially when none of us have little basis on what X actually is.Yeah but I kind of covered that in my response and the figure is my opinion of roughly what he's worth :/ BOF, my response was to others who seem to be saying on one hand - we need to keep AW and if we lose him it shows lack of ambition by the board, and on the other hand - there's no way we should pay AW any more than X. We can only guess what X should be (just a game) and it is conceivable that AW could leave without the board lacking ambition, i.e. another club offers AW more than X.
  19. Isn't that what the Make A Wish foundation do? Brilliant! I'm so glad I know that because Jim'll Fix It aren't replying to my letters.
  20. I've also read you can get HIV from taking drugs.
  21. Would it still be the board's fault if Andi left for more than your £40k/week maximum? How would you have got Andi to sign a new contract earlier? It would not be the boards fault if he left if he was asking for more than 40k a week he is not worth that and it should be our wage ceiling in regards to our best players other than Benteke of course who is exceptional This is the model Spurs used when they were in transition from being a rubbish side fighting relegation to a good one That won't stop many. Roll up! Roll up! £20k, £30k, £40k. Pick a number, any number! I cannot understand why you are having a go at people for speculating on a fans forum? I'd stay out the summer transfer window thread if I were you it might reduce you to tears Tears of laughter maybe! Especially when none of us have little basis on what X actually is.
  22. Able bodied people are permitted to do things which have a fairly high risk of ending in death and yet those who are not able bodied can't. If I'm terminally ill and disabled, would they allow me to be strapped on the back of a TT bike?
