  1. So it's only right to do a relative if she conceives? Another twist Boy and girl twins could simultaneously be son, daughter, nephew, niece and cousins. * rings Jeremy Kyle *
  2. Behind Ginko but I'd already typed! I'm troubled by what is worse: doing a close blood relative (on its own and without conception, harming nobody but society's morality), or betraying a fiancée. If true, do you have troubled thoughts or struggle to look at yourself in a mirror?

Leaving the multiple quotes aside; there is a small chance of us finishing above one of the sides immediately above us. There is an even smaller chance of Wigan finishing above one of the sides immediately above us. The chance of both us AND Wigan finishing above one of the sides immediately above us is very, very small. As QPR and Reading have already filled 2 of the 3 spots, I think it is us or Wigan for for the drop. It feels like a 2 horse race with Villa leading Wigan by a couple of lengths. Unfortunately, there are still fences to jump. If only it were on the flat! see, I feel it's a 3 horse race.....Newcastle have won 1 away game all season and their next 2 games are away followed by the last home game of Arsenal who are fighting for champions league place and in fine form with 16 of the last 18 points I think Newcastle are a few lengths ahead of us and several ahead of Wigan. Granted they could still finish behind us and Wigan but they would need to stumble at all the fences whilst us AND Wigan jumped comparatively well. Possible but still unlikely.

So many are still buying that 'arry is a great manager who despite having a decent squad and with money to spend, couldn't get them playing well as a team to get even close to surviving?

Looking at the QPR squad today, there so many players that many would appreciate as being very good footballers. Certainly plenty of 'names': Green Traore Hill Onuoha Bosingwa Taarabt Granero Jenas M'bia Remy Bothroyd Julio Cesar Fabio Ben-Haim Derry Park Ji-sung Hoilett Mackie If 'appy 'arry is such a great manager, how has he got so many decent players to be relegated? Even joining QPR in November with 4 points from 12 games, he has managed just 21 points from 23 games. Not exactly the big turnaround the media and many 'neutrals' expected.
  7. I watched it through to see what thoughts sprung to my mind: What does it achieve? Watching them as individuals, they all look very silly. Some run like they've messed themselves, others skip with arms flapping like they're trying to fly. The guy in a blue anorak who jumps up to grab the crossbar, holds on for less than a second before slipping off and falling flat on his arse, made me laugh! See 2 mins 28 seconds through to 2:31 to enjoy.
  8. A 'sports' interview that read more like the transcript from a crime investigation interrogation. Funny!
  9. It's £3.5m too much for the principle.

    Liverpool

If I were on the committee I would have been very annoyed at Liverpool's 'just give him the 3 match ban and we'll all move on' approach. IF the club had stated that they will support whatever action the FA decided upon, he might have got an 8 or 9 ban. It was always going to be more than the 7 game ban he had for the Ajax as it was his second biting offence; something that seems to have been ignored by virtually all of their fans and some of the media. 'It was in a different league so it doesn't count' doesn't wash with me. I hope the FA didn't 'go high' to accomodate an appeal and reduce the ban to 7 or 8 games. What a fudge that would be.

They were happy to buy Suarez based on his footballing form in Holland but think his disciplinary form is irrelevant?
  12. Back in school made a battery using lemon juice and aluminium foil. I also remember applying a small current to the leg muscle from a dead frog and watching it flex. Cool.
  13. Why play a guessing game over things you don't know the full facts of?
  14. There are often numerous conspiracy theories about most of the hundreds of notorious world wide events. How do you go about filtering what you see as a 'good conspiracy theory' from the thousands of misguided, sometimes malicious pieces of crap, which on inspection are often self conflicting or conflicting across conspiracy theories? That's a tremendous amount of research or naivety. You didn't quote the first part of the sentence, and have entirely misunderstood me. I don't believe a word of the link, I just enjoy reading about the secretive machinations of imagined shadowy organisations. It is fascinating what some people come up with; perhaps they should turn their hand to writing thrillers. I came across the link on Twitter, not during any exhaustive research, and it piqued my interest as I had not long ago read an article about the death of the American sniper whose name escapes me, and was the founder of Craft International. When someone else posted a photo of the guys being wildly speculated about I thought I would add to the madness. I'm sorry that seems to have upset you. No upset, we're cool, I hope. It was a genuine question. You've probably guessed that I'm not a big fan of conspiracy theories! It's just that I've heard enough of them that turned out to be nothing but time wasting bullsh!t, to be distinctly turned off by them. I'd guess that 1 in 1000 might have an element of credence, but if someone 'cries wolf' 999 times, the 1000th is bound to be passed over. I'm not a fan of passing on chain emails (formally letters) either. You know, the ones that say 'send this on to 6 of your friends and you'll avoid bad luck'. What a crock of sh!t.

  16. Was sent this today and it made me wonder why this guy above has not been questioned Uploaded with ImageShack.us Because the backpack is not similar to the two captured on CCTV that subsequently exploded. Are the three images even from Boston? Seriously, why does half the world turn in to Miss Marple and think they could do a better job, everytime an event happens? Yes these are from Boston, I checked as I thought it was going to be easy to answer. And if that bag is not the same, neither is Uploaded with ImageShack.us (This too - https://twitter.com/Scary_Hours/status/325012168342908928/photo/1) And of course, here is the bag: How are you better qualified than dozens, if not hundreds of investigators who do the job for a living, to state what bag is the same as what bag? How do you know this guy wasn't 'looked at' but there is other information (which you are unaware of), that completely rules him out? Trial by twitter ffs?

  18. Reminds me of the time I beat the security guard in ASDA to death with a Butternut Squash when he asked to look in my bags as I left the store. Totally justified, assuming the squash was receipted.
  19. I guess until the trial we've only got the footage of them dropping bombs at the scenes, killing a cop, throwing explosives at police, bomb making stuff at their house and admitting they were the bombers to the person they carjacked to go on I tell you it makes me mad when I'm accused of something I didn't do. This was their way of protesting their innocence. ;-)

This should be for a thread next season or hopefully a thread that doesn't exist. As there are only 3 promotion places from 24 teams it's not likely to be easy. Some teams disappear for decades, others seem to bounce straight back up. I don't see how anyone can say anything with any certainty.

Me too! I came to the conclusion that the prediction process is, as I hope our run in is not - pointless!

    Relegation

Well done to anyone whose predictions end up being correct, but despite all the posts which read like they are fact, all I see is dozens of guesses. The reason why the group immediately above us are currently around 25-1 to be relegated is because the chances of both us AND Wigan getting, for example, 6 and 9 points whilst they fail to get 2 or 3 points, is unlikely. I don't see the point in stating why we might/will go down, such as not holding on to leads. A loss is a loss, whether you score first or not and if every draw this season was achieved by scoring last instead of first, would we have any more points? If the statement is we'd have more points if we had won or drawn more matches (by holding on to a lead or whatever), well yes, that's 'bleedin' obvious'! If we stay up, we will have deserved it by gaining enough points. If we go down, we will have deserved it by not gaining enough points. How, why, where and when is either obvious or academic. Whether you're in the doom and gloom camp or someone who has belief we will be okay, I hope you'll all be willing us to succeed.
  24. Walt smart, Jesse dumb. Also, I can't recall Jesse spending enough money (yet) to alert the IRS. If he has plans to do anything with his millions, he'll need to open a laundry! On a related note, how much does anyone on here 'guesstimate' Walt has amassed in his store 'pile'? VG said that the props guy told him it would be around 80 million. Cool, thanks. It must be a real 'mind f$ck' knowing you have so much money but not being able to do much with it!
