  1. Very, very, early days but after my initial suspicion this may be a player that doesn't quite cut it for us, I was very encouraged by his performance today.
  2. A mixed performance today. Needs time to settle but I suspect Hutton will restrict his first team opportunities for the first few months. After today's defensive performance, he might end up a first choice backup for CB!
  3. If I were to suppose he would be playing instead of Gabby: The first goal today was from such a peach if a cross, Gabby probably would have done as well. I don't believe Gabby would have reacted quick enough to score the second. It's highly unlikely Gabby would have curled one in from 25+ yards for the third goal. That leaves me thinking Scott is the better option and depending on what formation Sherwood has planned for the PL, Scott might not be a guaranteed starter. I wonder where that leave Gabby?
  4. I think Amavi will be a star and I trust Clark to do a decent job. After those, I'm less convinced.
  5. I'm seeing a lot of references to buses. What's it all about? You wait ages for one...
  6. Kudos to the Nantes chairman. Thanks to Lesta for demonstrating we got him at a good price.
  7. There's a cartoon image somewhere...
  8. best to see for yourself....how many players of our own have you seen and formed a differing view from others. Its all subjective. All of them.
  9. He's a 74 on Fifa Thanks. How corrupt is a 74? I've heard there's a Sepp rated at 100.
  10. Can anyone write a few lines as to why Veretout is so well rated? As someone who doesn't know his game, I'm hoping to hear from an informed fan(s).
  11. I wouldn't equate CnZ with EA.
  12. First three of them will be codeshares, I'd say. Doubt he's flying Flybe. So for anyone not too familiar with flying, the 3 arrivals all expected at 21:02 are just one flight, likely to be a KLM aircraft. IF this isn't a wild goose chase, Jordan will be arriving at BHX at 21:02!
  13. Sorry, who is this mong? I'm still waiting for his 'b)' Even though it's more likely to be a iii) ?
  14. I don't play games like FIFA or CM and I don't watch much European football, but even if I did, I'm still happy to trust the club's decisions regarding their choice of the players realistically available and their associated costs. I look forward to judging Ayew and the other new signings, not before they've kicked a ball, not after a few games, but after a considerable amount of the season has played its course.
  15. I'm 95% sure it should be more like a shortened version of "Gway-yeah" but nobody believes me (possibly because I have, on occasion, been known to spread misinformation due to being wrong ) I was wrong once too.....but then it emerged I was right all along. "Gay-yea" according to the French bloke I know. Sure he wasn't asking you a question? Hard to tell, I was a little pre-occupied with his cock in my mouth I hope that Sherwood plays a close to a full strength team on Tuesday in our friendly against Wolves, it'd be nice to see how Gueye plays when everyone else is actually trying. You are Folski's Mom and I claim my £5.
  16. It's up to us to ignore the exaggerated smokescreen.
  17. Never mind the date, feel the weight!
  18. Likely, but as we don't know the exact details of the release clause (in theory it could be £32.5m + a sell-on), we're back to guessing about about something that is unlikely to have much affect.
  19. If there's no sell-on, I hope he leaves them on a free.
  20. ^ What a fantastic family photo ^
  21. Only when we become a team full of players who are too good for us will we become a team that good players aren't in a hurry to leave. Hope keeps my football alive.
  22. They are 'set to' which apparently trumps actually doing something.
  23. Although we'd then have up to £32.5m to spend on hopefully slightly less price-inflated players.
