This one has seemed to come out of nowhere. What does that mean in regards to Milot? Or we actually going to get rid of some players? We seem to be buying a lot of same positional players as last year which suggested that Dean and Co are not that pleased with the class of 2019.

I think the target should be to try and reach 45 points. That would be a 10 point improvement from last season and should get you about 12th or 13th. That would be our best season for 10 years. I know it is not a very exciting aspiration to be a deeply mediocre team in a premier league but lets be honest that would be a significant improvement from the last decade! I can't see a top half at present we have still a long way to go to get that. We need another season of progression before that imo. 12 to about 14th I would see as a 'good' season. 15 to 16th acceptable. 17th would be disappointing and I don't even want to think of anything below that.

I think it was difficult for him in the early part of the season as Luiz had not really settled into his role so he spent a lot of time covering for him defensively. Next season he might do better.

Been reading this thread backwards so was worried and now pleased to hear he is nearly back to training. I was concerned that we were not treating him correctly like we did with Kozak, but sounds like he is on track.

I doubt they could give him even 25% of his wage he is on at Villa that is the problem.

He is 5 years younger so makes more sense financially.
