  1. Loving my new Nexus 7 32gb (£195 John Lewis with 2 year guarantee) and I'm a big Android fan since have a Samsung Galaxy and since then an S2. However the one thing where I think all those apple lovers may be right is that for what ever reason Apple has better apps, they get them released first, and then get tablet formats. For example I cant download the Villa app on my Nexus 7 as it isn't compatible, like so many other apps that I have on my phone but cant get on my tablet, and very few of the ones that I do have are reshaped for tablet use. I love android but I think sadly this is its biggest problem!
  2. They will have a back 5 of Doyle Carr Davies Ridgewell Murphy, lets be honest that is more than decent for Championship, and Jerome does ok at that level too up front
  3. Same and I cant see no mention of this on national rail?
  4. Economic 67.8 Social 60 Cultural 20 But my Economic is skewed as I still live with my parents so with three of us earning it bumps up the household income
  5. Bid accepted for Kenny Miller Signing Bentley on loan apparently too!
  6. Just got 5 lots of 2 for mates on mine and my dads season ticket, excellent.
  7. A mate got himself some today, so they're obviously still selling
  8. 4-4-2 And if A Young is fit I want 442 with AY playing on the wing!
  9. I never thought Lichaj or Hogg were good enough for us, they will have respectable careers though, as will Lowry and Herd. Lichaj to be fair has improved immensly from when I first saw him playing centre half in a preseason friendly I think at Lincoln (?) a few years back, god he was shockingly bad that day. And Hogg has had two career threatning injuries so mentally they must have quite abit going for them. Albrighton is raw but can improve and Bannan is the most gifted but needs to know how to apply it. I don't think you should change Dunne or Ireland, when you look at their attributes they are correct, its just FM cant take into account current situations like we are currently in. Dunne would improve probably every back four in the league except Man U, Chelsea and Man C if he was on form.
  10. So which players are going to have GH added under there disliked personel lol?
  11. Could the following not have their favourite clubs set as; Delfounseo Villa Bannan Celtic Wiemenn Rapid Will Delph have his injury return date bought forward to December? Also Dion Dublin is listed as a legend, would favourite peronsal be more appropiate as I think his high elevation is only due to the Savage incident Also not a Villa data issue but I was updating some media links and the Birmingham Post is a weekly paper not daily, if you know who to pass that onto.
  12. Got tickets for £15 with my rail card a week or so ago. Where's everyone drinking for this?
  13. Last train back leaves before the game finishes
  14. He's a stockier version of a young Francis Jeffers IMO
  15. General, I thought Houllier was a good appointment and I do think he needs time, but if the remarks about losing to Liverpool are correct, then there is no way back for him. I saw this before under O'Leary with the we're fickle comments' you p off the Villa fans and thats it. He could win the next three games, but the next time he loses one or two those comments will just come back to haunt him. Its a really sad situation but unless there is a full scale apology from him, then I'm afraid he'll always be one defeat from the crowd wanting him out.
  16. Andy what you likely to do with Hogg in the January update? I agree with his PA, and like you I've never rated him as making at VP but he hasn't done too bad, and to be honest I thought he was quite impressive against Blues. He's currently ahead of Herd, Osbourne, Johnson and Carruthers (Salifou too) in the VP pecking order yet behind all of them in FM, is it a case of taking him towards the 90 mark and knocking Osbourne down a peg or two?
  17. Nah definetly same flare. It gets weaker by the second so started as strong red and eventually turned white. The last time it is thrown its just the orginal metal handle canister ( i assume its metal I dont actually know)
  18. I actually thought minus the defence we played well! Hogg I dont think gave the ball away once, he just keeps it simple.
  19. It was the same flare being thown back and forth, thrown originally by Villa!
  20. See if they were just after Fowler fair enough at least no innocents get hurt, but they just went into bully boy mode and laid into normal fans instead.
  21. Half time seems to have been overlooked in all of this. The metallic shutters that kept blues villa apart some how after a good ten minutes of kicking in became open and the Blues were through, only for them to shut again almost instantly, to then open again with a bucket load of riot police. After most of what I saw has been covered already. As we left the the 200 yard police line at the away end it was just full of well known Zulu faces (you dont have to be a hooligan to know main player names) they were pushing Villa back, punching a few on there way, calling out for Fowler (who as far as Im aware has been on a banning order for a while and wasnt there) but what I coudnt understand that those of us who were at the front wasnt our firm, they were normal fans, but they became a front line so to speak and the Zulus just didnt care knocking a few to the ground. So much for only targeting like minded people hey? What made matter worse was that the young Villa firm saw this and started pushing forward from the back meaning those like me were being pushed back into the front line for even more punches to be thrown our way. Eventually riot police decided to arrive and batton charged them down all the way to the island. After eventually clearing the route the police marched us down there. But then seemimgly thought that after the island no police was needed. MOst Villa fans had to head back into town which meant walking past The Clements pub which suprise supirse had a load of them waiting for us. At least this lot didnt attack normal fans from what I saw, they soon got what they were looking for from Villa who I guess you would have to say took advantage and even began to attack the pub too. At this point a load more riot vans arrived from town and moved Villa on through Digbeth High Street where quite clearly to all of us we could see all the pubs on the road had yet more Blues outside waiting for us to pass Police had numbers yes, but I think there problem is thay are all drafted in so just dont know the area. Having been to all but one of the away games since 2002 I reckon I could quite easilly tell you all the noses tactics, where they attack from and what pubs. God even my dad who I was with last night who hasnt been to Blues away since the 80s knew exactly which were there main pubs and just couldnt believe it when they were leaving us on our own to walk past The Clements. I some times get the the impression the police want this to happen in the hope they get some good footage for afterwards to prosecute.

Currently in the Rose Villa Tavern in the Jewellery Quarter
  23. 33 bus into town, then walk through Digbeth. Just dont wear colours and attract attention to yourself. Looking like we'll be kept in by the police after the game, but if were not and we win just try not to look to gleeful when you leave the ground and join the masses. Up the Villa!
