  1. Ok Ive never been too big on hitech phones, I'm ususally a year or two behind. Currently got a samsung touch screen which is fine. However I've seen the huge fuss of the iphone and been impressed and as i have a bit of disposable income and have managed to get a graduate job, and the fact that I'll need to be able to read my emails on the go I need one of these new type phones. Ive tried the blackberrys which everyone at uni had, and top be honest don't like them, I've looked at the iphone and although I like the layout etc its just so expensive. So thinking about a HTC Desire? Can anyone tell me anything about it, and inparticular the Androis system as its completely new on me. I'm told its just as good as the Iphone apps? Can i buy FM on android like you can on your iphone etc?
  2. Sporting did them with basic pass and move. Djalo looked goog and Evaldo wasn't bad either. Don;t know who the right back was but boy was he attacking
  3. Am I missing something approx 40 matches not including cup? Erm?
  4. Don't think Straw caem across well either to be fair, but I think the point he was trying to get across about the Sheff Steal is one worth further investigation
  5. Plop 2million bid for Wilson of Rangers, good young defender and a good price. Big step up though
  6. HE got the lowest score in Capello's index, and I agree with that rating
  7. the SSN wankfest is annoying me now. I'd rather had Yossi perosnally. 90K a week 4 year deal for an injury prone player who can't even last 90 minutes?
  8. Yes it says a lot when even Portillo thought the ideas were not needed. Question Time is fast becoming extremely painful to the weekly Tory/ Lib Dem
  9. So that means both Man C full backs would be big strong players. Boateng and the LB from Lazio both fir into that. Doesn't bode well for Onuha, Bridge and Richards
  10. hope he doesn't go there, good enough to play in prem I may have just misheard or got confused with another transfer, but thought it was £1.4 mill? Always thought he'd go Everton
  11. SSN: McGeady to Villa a very strong possibility according to one of their ITK reporters
  12. To get this back on topic I've now decided Ed Milliband; graduate tax, living wage, green and environmentaily friendly, high pay comission and tackiling inequality at the heart off all his policies.
  13. Hmmm Fiorentina have signed Boruc from Celtic today, we've been linked with Frey from him in the past?
  14. I think he is going on loan. I love the kid. Be gutted if he leaves. His family moved up to Preston when James was 6 or so and he joined Everton's academy. His family moved back down to Birmingham when he was 14 but he stayed up here to play for us. His dad goes to most Everton games home and away. Vaughany does still call himself a Brummie. He's Everton though :winkold: Went to nursery here in Kingstanding
  15. And so it begins... Students are 'burden on the taxpayer' says David Willetts I know the new NUS president and I can tell you now that he will lead a national strike if this goes ahead!
  16. And of course this neo classical economics has seen increases inequality from both Tory and Labour Gvts. So forgive me not buying the view that the general taxation method will trickle down to everyone, as it doesnt! I support the NUS proposal Link
  17. Graduates earn £400,000 more than non graduates through their life They should pay for this from their future earnings! There is still no strong evidence to support no. of graduates = better economy!
  18. Which of course is a totally accurate analogy. Not Tuition fees are more equitable and progressive than the old stystem which was highly regressive! And who introduced the old system of tuition fees? It was Labour who killed off free higher education. Those lovable socialists eh? Higher Education shouldnt be free or paid for by general taxation. Its regressive and hits the poor hardest. It should be free at the point of consumption with future earnings paying it back. I dont want the CAP to rise, infact I want loans abolished and a graduate tax introduced instead! But loans is a more equitable way of paying than through general taxation!
  19. Which of course is a totally accurate analogy. Not Tuition fees are more equitable and progressive than the old stystem which was highly regressive! Not that I'm a fan, and I dont want them raised, infact my ideal system would be a graduate tax rather than loans!
  20. I'm right in thinking its done on an AV vote?
