  1. Hopefully we see this team ----------------------Heaton---------------- Elmo------Konsa-----Mings-----Targett --------------------Nakamba-------------------- ---------------McGinn--Luiz-------------------- Trezeguet-----Wesley-------------Jack
  2. It's not just that. Spurs are only 6 pts behind them now so the pressure is building on Chelsea now. Mount is not on form and without Tammy they are struggling in front of goal, also their record at the Bridge under Lampard is poor. I think it's a great time to play them.
  3. They have lost 2 games in a row. If we can get the first goal we could put their supporters really on the nerve.
  4. He needs to stop dropping deep and get into the f*** box.

    Keinan Davis

Davis never got a run of games under DS. The Newcastle front three got 1 goals between them. It's not easy being a striker in a Bruce team.
  6. Could we try and go for Sessegnon in Spurs maybe? He doesn't play at all.
  7. Kante isn't used in the sitting role at Chelsea. He is playing as a box to box midfielder with a lot of license to get forward.
  8. But not all our signings were with us during Pre Season. So fitness might very well be an issue for some of the players. When i look at Jack and Trez there is a big difference. Jack never seem to tire while Trez looks shot after 45 minutes.
  9. That's why we got rich owners now. If we get desperate enough we will buy players not make loan deals. Purslow even said we won't be making any loan deals in the future so i don't get why we are discussing it. It ain't happening.
  10. No, but it's not the business model we're going for. We want our own players to develop and increase their value so we gain profit. Compared to getting in a bunch of loan signings, improve another clubs player for them to say "Thanks for improving our player now pay more for him if you want to sign him". That's a terrible business model. For instance. I don't think Mings was worth 20 mill when we initially loaned him, but since we improved him and he played well his value increased.
  11. He took Everton to 8th. He isn't a bad manager. Fans just get's fed up with his style of play eventually. But he is a good manager to steady and stabilize the ship then you get someone else in who can improve your style of play.
  12. Messi superior to him this season. Just look at the stats. Ronaldo is declining hard.
  13. The Sun with their fake stories yet again. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/10469765/solskjaer-man-utd-sacked-spurs-pochettino/
  14. Apparently their home form isn't great under Lampard.
  15. We are done with loans. Puslow stated this after the promotion.
  16. The fact that only the top 5 have scored more goals than us is a truly unbelievable stat. Being one of the most critical fans of Smith on here, the man can coach there's no doubt about it. If we can keep this goal scoring rate up for the rest of the season i'd be amazed.
  17. Just goes to show how tough this league is. Everton were tipped as challengers for top 6 this season.
  18. Picking certain players for different games is a very valid strategy. Ferguson used to do it all the time with great success. The challenge as a coach is to keep making them hungry when not playing. Man management is so important in modern football.
  19. I watched it again. He had all the time in the world. All he had to do was to lump it forward. But he is just waiting and waiting and waiting and inevitable get's under pressure which causes the mistake.
  20. 2 assists and 1 goal in 8 games. Brilliant.
  21. Yep. Sadly he looked like a passenger yesterday. Can't affect games where we are not dominating. That being said we had 10 corners yesterday. So stupid that Jack took a big chunk of them.
  22. Looks like Everton fans truly believes they are in a relegation battle. https://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/threads/relegation.108778/ I honestly don't think they are. Their squad is simply too good. When a new manager comes in they will be fine.
  23. Didn't Brugge play him as a second striker in a 4-4-2 system? Probably his best position. He likes to drop deep and join in the build up play. He isn't a number 9 and will never be.
