  1. Need to beat QPR and claw some goals back on our rivals. We could actually do with Man United beating Chelsea too.
  2. The two wide have got to offer genuine movement across the line and get close to Benteke. They cannot just be tucked in to make a midfield five, but instead give Cleverley options and also support to Benteke by picking up his knock downs and the second ball. Glad that Snachez will likely get his chance. The midfield craves variety.
  3. Won't they just patch it for PS4 as they did with Black Flag?
  4. I think he will get game time here. He's been blooded slowly so far with 20 minute substitute appearences, but I think the guile and difference he has to his game weighed up against our other options, suggest he will play.

Fingers crossed. We've looked really comfortable (which is odd for us) against the teams mid-table and below plus Liverpool, but out of our depth against the top six minus Liverpool. Four defeats in a row, this is the sort of side you want to be facing to set the record straight.
  6. So he's not going to be bummed silly by the Number then?

A point away from home is a good result and its important we don't lose just to stop the rot, but I agree, QPR are one of the poorest sides in the league, maybe only Burnley are worse, so we're more than capable of getting a result. We have to be positive though and that means invention and that, for me, means Grealish centrally where he will get on the ball more. It's strange that QPR played they're best football of the season against a really poor Liverpool side, but still got beat. Sendros and Vlaar at the back to steady us and hopefully Benteke another game on to give us a lift. A very winable game, lets hope we approach it right.

I would bring Grealish in and play him at the tip of a diamond. We need more guile around the box and he has that in abundance. Cleverly and Westwood behind him, the later further up to get his good range of passing closer to the opposition penalty box where it might do some damage. Sanchez would sit at the base. Most of the width on Saturday came exclusively from the full backs, despite the formation, so we wouldn't be sacrificing delivery by playing a more narrow shape anyway, not that shape should matter when you're attacking. Gabby to get another chance to partner Benteke, as I think his pace through the middle could really hurt QPR. They're a poor side, they put in a decentish display yesterday against an abject Liverpool, but still lost. They're bottom and their manager is likely on the brink of being sacked. Time to make in roads and stop the rot. Hopefully Senderos will be back fit (who thought we'd be saying that in August?!). I am backing an away win with a lot more attacking endeavour on display.
  9. I would consider giving him a run centrally at the tip of a diamond. We need to create more opportunities. If we can bring Sanchez in to anchor it, then that will give Westwood another 10-15 yards to make his passes higher up the pitch. Grealish at the tip offers something different from the similarities we have in midfield; guile. We of course need Benteke and whoever plays up top to assist this by dropping deep/wide and generally getting busy, but I think Jack in that role would help.
  10. I thought he struggled in general, but the midfield was let down by how static our front three were, a total contrast from Everton's options.

The away support isn't so fickle. People will have already booked the half days off and have the travel plans in place.
  12. I took a chunk out of my shins on the wooden seats in the upper Bullens when that went in!
  13. Always the way isn't it? I guess we won't be seeing Delph again until the New year. At least this time we have Cleverley in the midfield too, with Richardson and Sanchez to step up. That gives me more cheer than KEA coming in.
  14. A mutual respect/liking of us is not something I've ever found in too much abundance around Goodison or living in the north west. I am at a loss to explain why a good chunk of Everton fans really hate us. I can't say it keeps me awake at night mind.

    Far Cry 4

I quite liked the mission in Far Cry 3 where you went on a drug fuelled ramapage through the drug crops with the drum and bass booming in the background. I do very much like the setting of this one.

    Far Cry 4

Far Cry 4 apparently addresses the issues in the urgency of the story juxtaposed against the sandbox ability to go and pick flowers for days on end, should you so wish. The original Far Cry was fantastic though. The second was alright, not so keen on the fact you couldn't take land, which they got right in the third. The second game and the third, theme wise were essentially the same, with just a different way of telling of the Heart of Darkness tale.
  17. http://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/threads/everton-v-aston-villa-18th-oct-at-15-00.70578/ Everton fans are a bitter bunch aren't they? I have never really understood their hatred of us and as a club, they're pretty similar in size [not won as much as us like], but for tradition and fan base, there is plenty to like about Everton. Yet they smack of that girl you used to see, but things didn't work out, so now she spams Social Media with bizarre rants about you. I thought it may have been the mini-rivalry under O'Neill that was the cause, but despite how poor we've become of late, they still hate us. Bless. It's clearly second club syndrome kicking in, as they share all the same love struck bitterness of the Noses or the Albion, which must come from being the smaller club on the block. I appreciate how they display their hatred of us every season at Goodison with an absolute wall of silence and it appears his main gripe is the support we provide to the team. Maybe we're interrupting his Saturday nap?
  18. I expect it will be quite popular as a bit of a one off away fixture (Sorry Burnley).
  19. Great allocation is that.
  20. Everton are here for the taking. They've been awful at the back all season and with Benteke starting, I am confident. Mirales, Stones and Berkley out for them, any more?
  21. He isn't worth the money he would want for the length of contract he would like, given his injury record, which at his age isn't going to get any better. Cash in and replace. We know there is money there, at least £7 million given our Cleverley heist, plus whatever we get for him.

Mine came through a few weeks back in a fancy envelope.
  23. Its been 17:30 kick off quite recently. I am not sure when Sky announce their December games though.
  24. The top sides have always spent the most, the gap between the haves and the have nots now though is huge and it widens every season.
