  1. Thought we deserved a draw at the very least. Some great football going forward, just not having any luck. Why do deflections in and around our box always drop to the striker to smash some? Ba, Walcott, Cisse... We never get anything drop to us, Gardeners header a classic example. Our performances are getting much better.
  2. People seriously booed at the end??? Incredible.
  3. I think you're forgetting the fact that the previous manage also had Ashley young and Stewart downing playing for him.
  4. Best away fans in the league by a country mile. Polar opposite at home and clearly is having an effect. Only have to see the comments of the youngsters on twitter always praising our away support.
  5. The sort of justice that they deserve, had they admitted their crimes at the time they would have long been free and forgotten. They deserve their punishment even if it is delayed. Now if you had asked what kind of justice it is for Stephen Lawrence now that would have been a good question. It's not though, is it? We still don't know who plunged the knife into Lawrence, so it's just a case of convicting someone, anyone.... Sure, they are unsavoury individuals, but harbouring views, however nasty, does not make you a murderer. The only moment that the victim will get justice is if the killer is convicted. There is a percentage chance that has happened, but there is a greater chance that it never will happen. Yes the others need to be found and brought to justice, but as the judge said, it doesn't matter who wielded the knife. They're all guilty. I can't see what part of that is questionable. You demonstrate violent and racist attitudes then go out with a gang who commits a violent and racist crime youre all as guilty as each other
  6. They're violent scum and deserve everything that comes to them regardless of whether or not they're guilty of this particular offence. Absolutely no need for there type to remain in society.
  7. Yep. Because he was a regular starter for England at previous clubs. Since he's joined us he hasn't had a look in not even had a sniff of a chance for England.
  8. Reporter: "Do Bent rumours annoy you Alex?" McLeish: "It doesn't bother me. What's a source of irritation is that people don't believe you." Another from Matt Kendrick. I think the press are trying to stir this up more than anyone else. They're obsessed with them.
  9. As much as people think we're not told the truth, there is no way on gods earth that mcleish will have said that we have had no contact and a deal to have been done. If it has, tapping up on a huge scale. For what it's worth, I think he'll be here in Feb.
  10. Have no doubt that they're guilty and subsequent reports about their behaviour, background and tip offs to the police leave me in no doubt whatsoever. Hope the scumbags rot in hell.
  11. I'm convinced given time he will do well here. Unfortunately, and it is because of his background regardless of what anyone says, time isn't being afforded to him. There are 2 reasons we look better away from home. The first is because we are naturally better on the counter and the second is because the players are treading on egg shells because of the atmosphere at VP. I think if Hughes, Jol or even Martinez had 23 points this season it would be generally accepted because of where we are as a club at the moment.
  12. Just read his wiki page. Slightly changed my opinion of him! Also didn't realise how late he came into the game.
  13. You really ought to think before you post. You come outwith some shite anyway but really no need for this.
  14. Seriously!!? At times you have to wonder. On a different note, how many consecutive home games has it been that Chelsea have had penalties against us?
  15. Given news internationals' reputation for not being able to tell the truth about such matters I wouldn't rule this out. I hope not, but I wouldn't take anything they say as remotely plausible.
  16. I think we'll win on Saturday. They're up and down at the moment and it's the kind of place where you can nick 3 points. I think we'll win 2-0. An early goal, lots of defending and one to settle the nerves at the end.
  17. Absolutely. One thing you can say about Souness is that he is good value as a pundit. He doesn't mince his words. As for Hughes, what an arse.
  18. i think Mcleish's post match interview was refreshing. Clearly not impressed with collins IMO

2 nil battering by the sounds of it. professional job
  20. I've played with a then premier league footballer in a close season in a friendly with all our pals. The best lads in our Sunday team, who you think could just do a job at a decent level, couldn't get near him. And he wasn't trying. I still think playing 90 mins week in, week out at Utd you'd get a couple of tap ins.
  21. ^^^ yep, that's far to try hard.

    Murdoch Scum

so... does anyone believe a word that has been said by the police, media moguls or politicians over the last few days? They lie, lie again, then lie a little more. If all these highly paid people at the top of their industry "didn't know" what was happening on their watch then **** knows how they ever got into these positions. The amount of 'co-incidences' is also staggering. At what point does repetitive behaviour (corruption) stop becoming a coincidence? And if one more of them says "yes, with hindsight..." Corrupt, bent rocket polishers the lot of 'em.
  23. absolute rocket polisher of the highest order.
