I think that the lack of cohesion leads to thoughtless, disjointed football, and under pressure the players tend to scramble about frantically. No surprise that when there is a lull in the game our players push the ball around and don't have the confidence to take the game to the opposing team. Nothing that good coaching and playing players in their best positions cannot put right. But that would require a proper manager.

There are no certainties in life, but I am convinced Archer would have put away at least one of the chances that fell to Watkins.

Leeds are a dirty bunch of cloggers, but they still managed to draw with us while playing for the second half with 10 men.

If his daughter is dating the son of a gangster, that is an awkward one for Gerrard, as anyone with grown up daughters will know. There is, however, a problem of taint by association, especially for a man involved in multi million pounds deals as manager of a major football club. Certainly does not look good, but perhaps not a problem of his own making. I am sure the owners will take action if they feel action is needed; they will not want to be tainted by the association.

Like a few other players, he has not had a fair crack of the whip from Gerrard. And like a few other players, we will see him playing for another club and wonder why we let him go.

I think we are right on the edge of this at the moment. We have a decent amount of experienced players in our squad. No one will convince me that they cannot see through Gerrard. As will any quality player that we try to sign. When we started the season badly it is noticeable that the quality of players we bought at that time was considerably lower.

A lot of guesswork here.

On the positive side, we do at least have a capable backup who is actually a LB. Won't do Digne any harm. He is not the player he was when he first came in. He has regressed under Gerrard.

I cannot see players wanting to join Gerrard's `project' now that they can see that it is all talk. So if he is still here you can forget about the big names or the promising youngsters.

You cannot have consistency in a team if you keep changing the players. That is not the players, that is the manager.

Not proven, I know, but I would love to see Archer given more minutes. I think he could do it, and, let's face it, our main strikers, especially Ings, are not performing well at the moment.

We definitely do not need another manager `learning on the job'.

That is exactly how I feel - apathetic. I am just rolling with it at the moment, waiting for Gerrard either to come good or the Board to sack him. Although I am worried about the damage he may do to the club in the meantime, and the waste of our young players.

Surely that is what Gerrard was? Hasn't turned out too well, that one.

I think we have to accept that while Gerrard is with us, the young players will not be progressed. Gerrard's only plan to get us up the table is to buy expensive players that he assumes will be able to do their thing without needing to be coached. I have said it before - he is a cheque book manager.

More likely to get less time if all the players, including presumably the strikers, are performing better.
