  1. You don't need to be stressed or anxious about anything to suffer the attacks. My Mom suffers from them and her life is a piece of piss! Easy stress free job and Dad pays all the bills / Mortgage etc. She doesn't really have any responsibility if that makes sense? Get yourself to the quacks
  2. Great, apart from the woeful accent!

    Snow Watch!

Luckily I can jump on the cross city line from Four Oaks to Five Ways and i'm at work... trains seem to be running fine so far.
  4. The main reason why I don't go the cinema much anymore! Was he on his own or in a group?
  5. As soon as we are subjected to pressure we crumble. Worst defence assembled at the club in the 25 years I've been watching.
  6. I got angry just reading that! She sounds like a right bitch.**** her off and bang one of her mates if you can! Seriously, as soon as she told you not to speak about something in front of her, I would have got rid! Not to mention she is using you as a taxi service. Get rid son! Move on.

    Snow Watch!

Work at Five Ways and they let us go at about 11am! Was in the Green House pub in Mere Green by midday. Trains were running fine
  8. I didn't Tony. Not sure why! I posted earlier about Cambodia... but just to repeat, I thought it was fantastic. Found the people a lot friendlier than the Thais and Vietnamese. Highly recommended.. get yourself there! The problem is Lonely Planet guides is that they are so popular that the hotels/bars/clubs recommended in there tend to be full of people with Lonely Planet guides!
  9. YES YES YES! Been meaning to make the same point. Put it on night colours you tools!
  10. The last time I went into Blockbuster (The Erdington one used to be my local one) I was renting movies on VHS!
  11. As posted earlier up, the sad (but inevitable) news today that Blockbuster is going in administration. It was just a matter of time wasn't it? I think we all predicted it some point in the Corporate dead pool.
  12. 30 mins out of the city centre is probably about 2 miles on a bad day!
  13. My favourite country as a whole was Cambodia. I thought it was wonderful. The Angkor Wat complex on the outskirts of Siem Reap needs no introduction. Absolutely amazing. We hired our own private guide and auto rickshaw driver and went all over the complex over 3 separate days. It meant we stayed away from the large swathes of coach parties there and saw some of the parts that aren't on the normal tour guide list. Our guide was a lad no older than about 25 but was so knowledgeable and spoke perfect English. When we gave him a decent tip (along with the driver) at the end he nearly cried with happiness! We started our Cambodia trip in Phnom Penh. Fascinating for all the wrong reasons... The Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng genocide museum are very harrowing. Its chilling to think what happened in very recent history. Phnom Penh also had a cracking night-life... we had a few hedonistic nights out there! Reports are now that there has been a lot of development in recent years in PP and its losing its edginess, for want of a better word. Won't be long before McDonalds and Starbucks line every boulevard.
  14. I was just about to say that HMV is (finally) going to the wall tomorrow.
  15. My mate is doing Skopje and Pristina next month. I'll ask him how he is going across the border. He's going in from Macedonia, not Serbia as you are.
  16. Honda! Didn't you read the original post?
  17. I've never seen the appeal of places like Kavos, Faliraki, Malia etc. its just full of drunk Brit pricks... I go on holiday to avoid them! Plus mates who went in their younger years said it was always a cock fest anyway... sometimes about 4 blokes to every 1 slag. Thailand is brilliant... as well as Indonesia and Philippines. The bonus thing about these places is that the Kos crowd will never go there as the flight ticket is usually twice as expensive as their week on the Greek Islands.
  18. While i wouldn't choose to live in the City Centre (its a shithole IMO) if i was forced then I would look at St Pauls over Broad St area. Echo other peoples comments... Edgbaston, Harborne and Moseley if you want to live close to the city... if you don't mind a bit of extra travel then Sutton Coldfield is nice.
  19. I'm counting Hong Kong! Although if its not allowed then I'll just count it as China
  20. The Iron Lady is on C4 tonight at 9pm
  21. We did a 4 city, 8 night Baltic tour (Helsinki, Tallinn, Vilnius & Riga). Riga was the last stop... had just had 4 great nights out in a row in Tallinn & Vilnius (including dancing with an Italian hen party in a Vilnius club - they were all stunning!)... don't think I heard another British person in Vilnius and very few in Tallinn... a lot of that was down to the fact we were there midweek but we ended up in Riga on Friday and it was full of drunk British stag groups, shouting, fighting and generally being words removed. I imagine that if we had been in Tallinn or Vilnius on a Friday night we may have seen groups like this. As a city itself, Riga is very pretty. I may have been a little harsh when I described it as awful! Plus despite what I said above, we still had a cracking couple of nights out. Maybe its me, but I like to go places where there is very little chance of hearing the British accent! Average. Spent a couple of nights there and nothing stands out in the memory, Its not a bad place... just not a memorable place!
  22. Scored three on his Leamington debut according to Wiki
