I’m glad he’s captain, he isn’t the most vocal but does his talking with his attitude, will to win etc. Not only he his good footballer he’s a top man of the pitch as well. Delighted to have people like him represent our great club!

Gave Cashy MOTM, he’s one of the players who will divide fans but always gives his all for the team. Special mention for the gaffer, few fans seemed nervous about the starting 11 but it’s like he knows what he’s doing!

If Poch is world class what does that make Emery, similar ages, managed similar clubs but Emery has won far more trophies than him.

Be surprised if he’s back before October, he still had his protective boot on at the Everton game. Not sure if this is just precautionary though!

I wouldn’t mind Awoniyi from Forest, strong, decent pace and works hard. Would be a good back up for Ollie and knows the league. Got into double figures last season in a very average Forest team.

Yep, he’s a kid in a foreign country learning his trade, sometimes fans forget this. He needs time to develop but if we are patient as a fan base we could have a top player on our hands.

Yeah, it was possibly his best game in a Villa shirt today, good send off if he’s goes but I think Moreno would have had a field day today against that Everton team. It was like Everton were happy for him to have the ball, he was in 20 yards of space every time he received it. I’m not knocking him though as you can only play what is in front of you. If Emery thinks Acuna is the right man then it will do for me.

His bad 2nd touch actually made it an easier finish due to Pickford half thinking he could get to the ball. I like this kid though, delighted for him!

Played well against a very poor team, they are the mirror of us when we got relegated. Poor for a few season before the inevitable happens. Bailey, Digne both had good games but head and shoulders the best player on the pitch was McGinn. When he plays well the team plays well, he sets the tone.

I’ve never seen anything in this kid to think he has huge potential. Scored 4 goals in his career. No better than El Gahzi imo. Aaron Ramsey has more potential than him.
