Just prior to the Mings injury yesterday we had a free kick that was played out wide. The ref blew up and in commentary they said it was for offside, it clearly wasn’t for offside though as Digne was miles on. Does anyone know what the reason was for the free kick against us?

I don’t disagree but we also have Dendonker and Kamara who could fill in there. On Dendonker it seems most would be happy to see him leave. He isn’t perfect but he’s a decent squad player who started in our home wins over United and Newcastle last season.

I was speaking to a Newcastle fan after we battered them at VP and he said it would’ve been a different game if Sean Longstaff had started that game. Most deluded fans in football, can’t stand them.

To be fair we were missing 3 players in Ramsey, Moreno and Buendia who all played when we destroyed them at VP and then lost Mings. You take 4 starters out the Newcastle team and that chain looks different. Not saying that Newcastle haven’t got a stronger squad btw. In reality they should have having spent £500m in the last 18 months.
