  1. Was about to absolutely rage at Ings then . Great finish. Excellent ball from McGinn to start the move.
  2. We’re not looking too bad. Mings and Kamara immense. But as soon as we get anywhere near their box, we’re completely clueless. Really trying to force it forward and there’s a disconnect between our front two and the rest of the team.
  3. No Buendia again is just staggering. How can Gerrard “look him in the eye” and tell him he’s not good enough to start?
  4. It would be fitting if she featured in the last episode but I thought this came across as her finale and where they left her was the perfect ending for her, character-wise - completely breaking down after everything that’s happened; letting out everything she’s been holding in. I hope I’m wrong and they’ve figured out a way of including her. Either way, I can’t believe that I predicted a happy little neat and tidy Nebraska reunion! If I had one criticism of this episode it would be that I thought they went a little overboard on the mundanity of Kim’s ‘new’ life.
  5. It hit me watching this episode how much I’m going to miss these characters after next week. I know it’s really weird but I reckon I’ll be genuinely sad. It’s just about overtaken Breaking Bad for me. Greatest TV show ever IMO.

    Tyrone Mings

I’m really feel for Mings. The last two Villa managers have both seen fit to drop him for lesser players, as has the England manager. Fans are quick to get on his back when in reality, he’s very, very rarely been anything less solid in his performances, and often excellent. He was amongst the least of the problems with this team and has had countless more great games for us than poor ones. Seems to be held to a much higher standard than those around him. It’s **** weird.
  7. Performances like this can happen in isolation - against a newly promoted side defending for their lives but what concerns me most is that it doesn’t look like a one-off. We’re playing in exactly the same way we did for most of last season. Just so, so static.
  8. Coutinho playing as if he’s already got his eye on the lucrative move to China/Qatar/Saudi Arabia.
  9. Apart from lump into/towards the box. You’d have thought if that was the case, we’d be a bit better at crosses.

    Gym Routine

I’m less confident/comfortable in amateur diagnosis than I used to be. I also don’t have a clue given the tenderness to the touch, which doesn’t sound great. Sounds like a job for a good physio.

    Gym Routine

Man, it’s so grim what’s happened to the gym in recent years. Can’t move for Instagram words removed setting up tripods to record themselves doing **** bicep curls. It’s hard enough to motivate myself to train as it is. Really need to start planning the home set up.
  12. An absolute masterclass again this week. Possibly one of my favourite ever episodes. The perfect balance of the intricate, methodical stuff, and things actually happening. I liked that it wasn’t a big Hollywood exit for Kim. Mixed feelings about the time jump, though. On the one hand, it was bold and unexpected and leaves enough to our imaginations. But then there are story beats of the ‘transformation’ that I’m disappointed not to have seen. I’m almost a bit sad that the journey is finished (sort of).
  13. I can’t remember the last time I was able to concentrate fully on an England rugby match. They’re just so, so boring to watch. Got some really decent individuals and fleeting moments of quality but it’s mostly just disjointed, clunky and dull. Pretty much rugby Bruce-ball.
  14. I’d be very shocked if Kim dies. Really don’t see that happening. We’ve seen that she grew up in Nebraska and that’s where Gene is post-BB so I reckon she’ll turn up there. Could just be a red herring, of course.
  15. Playing really well, though. Good game. That’s a horrible injury to the Aussie full back
  16. My word, the constant screaming from the England players is cringeworthy. Embarrassing.
  17. Apologies if that was a spoiler. It’s pretty subtle. More of an Easter egg, I guess. It was only after I played Skyward Sword again that I realised. Have you found the final memory? Very true!
  18. Fi makes a cameo in BotW.
  19. Eddie’s got a fair old list of negative records for England. Record loss to the Baa Baas another one to add to the list. He’s just absolutely got to go. I’ve got a ticket to the World Cup quarter final in Marseille that could feature England if they win their group but that’s looking highly unlikely.
  20. England look an absolute mess. So poor. This is a hiding. Please pleeeeease get rid of Jones ASAP.
  21. Is Peter Walton talking bollocks to support the referee’s decision, again? If his explanation is right, then there’s literally no way that Benzema can receive the ball without being offside, other than a Liverpool player intentionally passing it to him. What a ridiculous rule if correct.
  22. As opposed to one of those nets without holes?
  23. Jimmy/Saul was Lalo’s lawyer in his murder charge and went to collect $7m bail money from the twins at the border. He got ambushed by mercenaries sent by Bolsonaro (I think) on the way back but Mike saved him, then asked him to lie to Lalo about what really happened (I can’t remember why exactly). Lalo was driving to Mexico with Nacho when he found Saul’s car pushed off a cliff, riddled with bullet holes, so turned back and went to Saul’s apartment to find out the truth, but Kim managed to talk him round. After that, Saul knew that Lalo was going to be ‘taken care of’ but didn’t have anything to do with making it happen. Yes, I’ve recently re-watched season 5 I’m not too sure why Lalo came back to Saul’s in this episode. Maybe because he was introduced to him by Nacho?
  24. Wow. I watched that with my sleeping 3-day old daughter lying on me. I don’t think she appreciated the involuntary f-bomb I blurted out at the end! Shocking to say the least but it was inevitable when Howard turned up at the apartment after Lalo had seen the cockroach (having referred to Saul as one in an episode last season). I’ve actually found myself feeling quite sympathetic towards Howard these past couple of seasons. He was a really entertaining character (possible even more watchable than Lalo IMO), perfectly played, and that was quite an upsetting ending for him. I guess it was the perfect way to blend Jimmy/Saul’s two worlds, though. At least I can start taking Lalo seriously again after his international escapades and someone pointing out to me how much he looks like Steven Toast.
  25. Most Villa thing of all time. Just **** off you **** words removed.
