  1. McGinn’s pass back to Olsen is the first pass he’s completed all game. He’s had some terrible games for us this but this might be his worst.
  2. I really, really want to like McGinn again but he’s just the epitome of a headless chicken these days. I think he’s done, sadly. Still remember him having an absolute stormer at Old Trafford last season.
  3. Didn’t see the game today as I was out but I’m not surprised. (Would’ve chosen to watch Villa, anyway.) I just can’t be arsed watching England anymore. Sport should at least be mildly entertaining and although I didn’t necessarily think we’d lose, I had a pretty good idea of how the game was going to go. I don’t care if he’s ‘peaking for the World Cup’; I’d actually prefer to enjoy watching England play for the other 46 months of the cycle Eddie should’ve gone a long, long time ago. It’s been a farce for a while. The guy is also an absolute bell end.
  4. It will be nice not to be able to moan about the line up today. Regardless of whether, say, McGinn starts, we’ve now got a manager who definitely, without a shadow of a doubt, knows better than all of us combined.
  5. I don’t suppose anyone knows of any Eternal Sunshine-type procedure where you can erase and block the existence of a football club from your consciousness? Struggling to cope with how much I hate Newcastle and everyone and everything associated with them.
  6. Yep to be fair, I posted this without a VPN so I’m going to be watching my back for the next few months.
  7. Would the female commentator even be allowed to be doing her job if it were up to Newcastle’s owners?
  8. Are even the commentary teams terrified of Newcastle’s owners, given how much they’re abandoning any sense of morality and completely sucking them off? Although, they do have form for murdering journalists, to be fair, so it might be prudent.
  9. I try not to get too emotionally invested in football these days but it’s not good for my health how much I hate Newcastle United, their fans and everything associated with them. words removed.
  10. Newcastle fans are undoubtedly the most obnoxious in the land. Utter, utter scumbags. Which I suppose you’d have to be if you continued to support a team who are a sportswashing front for a murderous regime.
  11. Far from the only one. I think tonight is making it clear, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the players want Gerrard gone.
  12. Just completely unacceptable that we’re playing like this AGAIN and the manager’s been allowed to remain in post for so long.
  13. McGinn just looks broken. Confidence completely shot. He’s not as bad a player as he’s looked this season. Needs a spell out of the team for his own good (as much as that of every single Villa fan)
  14. Oh well, at least Gerrard’s got an excuse now.
  15. The immediate contrast in play between Coutinho and McGinn then was actually laughable.
  16. 6 points from the last 30 available. 19th in xG and shots. No signs of improvement. It’s a compete abdication of duty from Purslow leaving Gerrard in post.
  17. An unforgivable touch from Ramsey. Absolute shite.

    Douglas Luiz

Such a shame. Particular as when we get a manager with even half a brain, Dougie will be exactly what we need to sort out the midfield.
  19. Two seasons on the trot that our performance at the Emirates has been so disturbing. Hope we don’t wait another game to get rid of our manager this time, though.
  20. Can’t remember the last time I saw us absolutely monstered like this. Arsenal look ridiculously good. Complete opposite trajectories since we battered them 3-0 a couple of seasons back.
  21. **** me, what are Arsenal on?! It’s like they’re playing the game in fast forward. It’s insane.
