Agree with Mike on all parts.
Last year I did run most of the course, but then realised we ran over the Birchfield Flyovers, and underneath tunnels (which I couldn't obviously due during training). This year, I have not run any part of the course whatsoever.
I will go for maybe a 7 miler this weekend, and two 3 mile runs (one on Tuesday and one on Thursday) and then that is it.
On race day, I'll wake about 6.30am - Have some porridge and a cup of tea. Try and squeeze a shit out, and then just try and stay nice and relaxed.
Planning to get to the city centre between 9/9.30 and then loosen up my legs, do some stretches, and try and have a piss about 10 mins before gun time.
As for drinking on route, they gave a load of Powerade out at each station, so just grabbed a bottle, took a few swigs, and then parted company with it.
