    Running

Any of you peeps signed up for this years Birmingham Half Marathon ? Did it last year and really enjoyed it. Now they have changed the course, to avoid the hills that many people complained about, planning to complete in the 1hr 45min mark.

I'm interested - PM me some details if you can.

    Running

I did the Sutton run as well (or Great Midland Fun Run as it's properly called). Baking hot heat, and was near the back, so had to navigate pass all the walkers and not so fast runners - Therefore please with my 1hr 10 mins time.
  4. Didn't he sadly pass away last year ? Therefore your bet would be invalid my friend.
  5. I've gone for Phil Hart, as if the supposed take over goes ahead, Portsmouth will want to employ a big name Charlie - Perhaps 'Arry' will return ?

    JB

That's very impressive - 226 people. That therefore ends the contest in my opinion.
  7. I guess if they managed to retain a fair few of their current team then YES. But by the looks of things, they need to sell and reduce their massive wage bill, and therefore NO.

Bauer Power. Albeit Jason Bourne does a lot of funky stuff.
  9. I, like the current 49% of others sit. Albeit, when I say sit it's more of a lean. The best way to describe this is the same movement you undertake to let out a fart. I raise my right cheek off the seat to enable my hand, with ample supply of loo roll to clean the area that has been slightly stained by the previous bit of action. It's a simple repeat and return motion until said area is clean. Therefore, it's never sitting or standing - but a method to position your bum hole to a correct angle to get it suitable cleaned.
  10. I like Coppell as well, but I read the other week that no matter what happens (i.e. if Reading gain promotion), he is resigning as manager. If he would still be in charge next season, then Reading would have got my vote
  11. Yeap, Preston for me as well. Don't want another team that plays in Claret & Blue joining the Premiership

    Dr Pepper

Like root beer (which seems to have faded in the UK) so Dr Pepper is the nearest alternative. Did get me a fix of some good ole root beer in Vegas the other week, which tasted twice as good.
  13. Yes.. Purely being that whatever replacement we get, they wouldn't be an improvment to Barry. I'm pretty glad Robbie Savage's playing days are all but over, as that would be O'Neill's replacement.
  14. No choice really is there ? I guess it should be one thing we would change with the current manager. I guess everyone would comment on the transfer dealings thus far
  15. Clever and I like it.
  16. Personally, I don't. Have lots of friends who are Albion fans, and for a good many years, Albion have not been any threat to Villa whatsoever. Granted, I haven't voted, due to my choice not being available.
  17. No real problem with him. Watch Top Gear every now and again and find him funny. Never read his columns in whatever newspaper he writes in, so his opinions don't really concern me.
  18. Well, in my 37 years, all I have partaken in is a couple of smokes on a visit to Amsterdam. Not a smoker, so struggled to really enjoy it. One of the group decided to scoff an entire 'cake'. He was fine for half an hour, and then went a little mental. At one stage he actually forgot how to breathe, which was a little concerning. That sort of spooked me out, so not bothered since.
  19. Anyone got one of the numbers I cna text ?
  20. Surely if these notes were 'laced' with anthrax, the giver of these notes would be wearing a gas mask ? Plus, the white powder in and between the notes would also be a bit fo a give away. Whilst I would no doubt be a little wary, I would question his/her motive first as to be giving this cash away, but would take it
  21. Perhaps if you went back and read my two previous posts, you'd see why? Yeah kingphil. Super-Villan posted. The thread ended Quite. Well Super-Villan if your posts are to be taken at face value, then I admire your stance. Very few people would turn money down, so it could benefit other people, perhaps worst off. I on the other hand would want more money to improve my, and my families standard of living. I'll rather spend time with my daughter, then working till 6.00pm every evening, coming home tired and managing just half an h9our each night with her. So, the more money I had, then less I would have to rely on working. Which, I assume would be the feeling of most people on this thread. Obviously excusing you with your high morale standing.
  22. It's a yes from me as well. In fact, why would anyone not ?
  23. No poll as yet - but my opinion would be - NO !
