More like a few weeks. By back hasn't been good for most of 2011 - and it can't be old age just yet (can it) ? Really fed up with it at the moment, as if I do venture out, can't really go that fast and causes a lot of pain afterwards.

Tried morning for about 2 weeks - up at 5.30 in the morning, and setting off without any breakfast inside me. Really did not enjoy it at all - so now just go as soon as I get home from work (well, obviously get changed first into my shorts).

Flown into Sanford many times - much prefer that then Orlando International. I have to say, this has really tempted me, as always been not too bothered about running a full Marathon - even the likes of London or New York. But the thought of missing out on running at Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and some of the Disney hotels if I ran the half, has really got me interested. I might just bite the bullet and register for the full one, therefore know I have a place, and then try and sort hotels/flights etc nearer the time.

This sounds brilliant! I'm genuinely looking into it. Probably wouldn't be able to commit to 2012 at this stage, btu assuming they do it annually, I would love to do it in 2013 It is an annual event - In fact, I'm sure they do different runs throughout the year. I believe the half marathon is in it's 15th year now. Been doing a lot of research on this, since I posted yesterday - the marathon dates run from 5 Jan 2012 - 8 Jan 2012 (different events on different days) - but the full marathon being on Sunday 8th Jan. $140 it costs to register (very steep) - but the course looks brilliant. The half marathon takes in Epcot and Magic Kingdom, whilst the full one covers all the 4 parks - here, take a look I guess however for us UK folk, adding flights and hotels onto this - it's going to cost around £1k - purely to run a race. However, I'll see what the wife says about this tonight when I approach the subject.
  6. Not a bad idea tbh, go for it Make sure you film this and then show it on The Discovery Channel.

ME - seeing you live in Florida, you ever considered doing the Walt Disney World half or full marathon - Or are you sick to death of Mickey Mouse and all his pals ? Personally, I would love to run all around the Disney estate and take in all the views etc along the way. Noticed that information for the 2012 event has now been released and due to take place early Jan 2012
  8. Top banana - Just make sure you invite us all to the house warming party
  9. If you see Denise Welch there, steer clear - she gets **** everywhere at the moment.
  10. Facebook in general. Really need to have a clear out of 'so called friends' - I'm really not bothered if they are snuggled up in bed - **** off and get a life.
  11. The fact that I haven't donated to VT this year - and as such, my lion has disappeared
  12. Surely this has to be included :-
  13. I earn enough to live a comfy life, have a holiday once a year and the odd treat now and again. Obviously I would like to earn lots more, but do believe I am well paid for the job I do. Trouble starts when you start to compare other salaries within the company of people of similar age and grade earning twice as much as you.

What you doing in my neck of the woods ? I'm sure Great Barr is a no Ginger Zone
  17. Does Santa like Ginger's ? I was always told he curled out a turd for all the ginger kids and they all believed it was proper chocolate. Of course he does!! He leaves us our very own 'whipped' chocolate surprise each year. What a stupid thing to say.. :notsure: Fair enough - Happy Christmas to you and the kids then.

  19. More or less this (well, apart from I'm 39 and my daughter is 5). For me, the build up to Christmas is far greater then the day itself. I love it when December starts, the advent calanders, putting up the decorations and just generally a lot of happy people. With the German Market set to open this coming Thursday (25th) - it's a real sign that it's fast approaching. I know that it will be a nightmare walking down New Street and Victoria Square over the next 5 weeks, and the shops will be manic - but that is what Xmas is all about. I actually don't booze that much over Christmas these days, as we go visiting thus driving a fair bit - and gone are the days of spending most of Xmas Eve in the pub. Last year took my daughter to the cinema and it was great. The only bit of Christmas I don't enjoy is the numerous adverts on TV of all the sales starting - and from 27th December onwards is just horrible.
  20. Due to the kick off being 12:45, the Villa coach will arrive on or around 11:00am.
  21. That people can argue on a web site at 1am in the morning. Surely we should all be tucked up in bed ?
