I think the word your looking for is "Servant" Agree with that. Thing is, he did the easy things very well. Played with a cool head, and was always talking and geeing people up. Unlike some, i never had a bad word for him, and all the above ive mentioned, are things we have missed this season. Also, of the pitch, the man is a real star, and will give everyone the time of day. Something that is overlooked with the modern footballer image.

Credit due with the last two wins, but im seeing a lot of people thinking we will survive on the back of it. Lets just keep our feet on the ground and take things as they come, because even though we have given ourselves a chance, the real hard work starts now.

Im backing Lambert, though i do have some doubts whether he is the long term solution, which i never had at the start of the season. My major worry is his inability to sort out the defending which is still micky mouse. OK, he got stitched up in January and he may have been over reliant on Dunne returning, but for me, there just does not seem to be any improvement since day 1. Some horrible and nasty 1-0's please!!

If Sunderland can take something off Man U then so can we. In theory, yes. But i still have no confidence in our defenders to keep anyone from scoring, let alone Manure. You would think they would have improved by this late in the season, but they ae still making fundimental mistakes both collectively and individually. Now the Midfield is beginning to tick, and with Delphs return, they may start getting more protection?

Sunderland ARE in deep trouble with a nightmare run of fixtures, with the easiest game being us, which in the situation they have drifted into, is definately not an easy game. Also, looking at the weekends games, im beginning to think we will need another 7 or 8 points to be certain. Luckilly, its all in our own hands now, and we should get another 2 wins and the draw from the fixtures against Sunderland, Fulham,Stoke, Norwich and Wigan. Bonus point willl come against either Liverpool or Chelsea imo. However, there will be a few more squeaky bum times to come within the remaining few weeks, and facing Wigan in a relegation cup final needing a draw or win, fills me with dread. Need these points on board before then!

We have given our selves a chance. We must avoid a defeat against QPR to still have that chance. Personally im looking at the Fulham, Sunderland, Stoke and Wigan games for points after the QPR game. Agreed. I think thier past experience with financial troubles will keep them on top of things. Growth goes hand in hand with sucess on the field, and they will have a set figure in their head where they know it will be risky to cross.

he is the same. I met Doug once and he was a very nice man he wasnt great for the club but not going to personally insult him We show our digust/anger in different ways. I feel we have and still are being cheated and mislead by people whom care little about us or the club we all love. Therefore, i feel im in the right to call him whatever i wish.
