I'm on holiday for the newcastle game and my first away game this season won't be until hull or west ham so if I don't go to this game it will be weeks before I see the lads in action, I think I better get my arse to this one

Were definately gonna be taking the 2nd allocation of 2600 then by the look of it, I get off holiday a day before this game and with it being a 12.45 kick off I will probaly give it a miss but I will see how money is first

definitely think he should give the new boys who aint really featured yet a proper run out, id leave weimann and benteke out completely to give them a break as I thought weimann looked like he needed it against Liverpool, by no means put a weak team out but id rest a few players and let tonev and helenius get some action, really cant decide wether im goin to this or not,but come the day I will probably want to, just don't fancy getting in at gone 11 for a nothing midweek game, crowd of 25k is expected, blues would struggle to get that even in the premier league, bet Rotherham will be bringing around 4k though

I will give it a few more games and see how it goes, funnily enough the lads that are next to me were a few seats away from me last year and they annoyed me then but it was bearable because I was not next to them, kept shouting about Liverpool fans being on dole, I thought lads that was relevant to a lot of fanbases in the 80s but its a bit old now, they make me cringe so much, anyway rant over

ye they definitely were, saw several villa fans swinging at them while the stewards surrounded them,

went to my seat yesterday and I must admit im not looking forward to spending the next 18 home games next to the pair of clearings in the woods next to me, kept repeating the same chant over and over and over which was a bit cringe worthy but what pissed me off more than anything was how they kept getting on the players backs already after 1 home game and a decent start to season, at one point one of them shouts lambert f**k off, they aint got a clue about football or the villa, and to make matters worse the one of them whos seat is next to me stinks of b.o and has bad breath, can you actually move your season ticket seat once the season has started because if you can then that's what im gonna do

I think we were very poor first half and our passing and movement was terrible, slight improvement second half, it was a typical home performance by us, what I will say though was I thought Liverpool done a great job at breaking up our play and really battled hard, I think they were a well drilled team, was very frustrating to watch but it ay been a bad start to the season, I expect us to easily beat Newcastle then at least get a draw at Norwich, thought guzan's distribution was poor again yesterday,

going for a Chinese tonight with the mrs, then at the villa tomoz, prob have a few in the aston before the game then try and persuade my wonderful mrs to let me off my leash for the night to celebrate a villa win, sunday gonna watch the villa old boys in charity match at Brereton town which is on my door step

really looking forward to this game, if we can win that leaves us with 6 points with games against Newcastle home and Norwich away coming up, we could really get off to a flyer this season, I expect the atmosphere to be electric for Saturday, from what ive heard its near enough sold out, even a draw would be a decent result but I really think if we fly out the blocks we will win this game, im goin for 2 nil villa, be nice going to villa park with a exciting vibe around, I think Liverpool will do well this season but Saturday will belong to us

we had some young apprentice with us today at work and we were on about football and we got on the subject of villa then this little shit pipes up and says in a thick tone that villa were shit, it turns out anyway that he was a blue nose but he don't know any of the players and don't even know who they last played or who their next game is but the thick clearing in the woods knows villa are shit haha it cracked me, oh yea and he's heard of the Zulu's, thankfully rugeley has very few people that follow the shit

i can actually see them in a relegation battle, the team is piss poor with the exception of 3 or 4 players, don't hate Newcastle their fans just annoy me

i was thinking the same but can we seriously stop them from scoring 2 goals, id like to think we can if we set up a really solid defensive midfield unit, I say 2 goals because I definitely think we can score with our attack, we could do a lot of damage on the counter attack but in all honesty I think lambert will go for a more attacking mode of play, either way I think we could get a draw if we contain them, im going to say 2.1 Chelsea though

used to buy shirts of teams when I was younger from jjb sports, along with the villa shirts I had burnley away Sheffield weds away, Bristol rovers away, millwall away, rangers away, Napoli home, brazil away, stoke home, and my biggest regret was a leeds away shirt, cant stand leeds but when I was 10 they were just another team which I knew nothing about, anyway im glad i very quickly grew out of getting other teams shirts, the only shirts ill get now are the villa retro shirts

id be happy with a decent performance, as other posters have said Chelsea are a different proposition but it ay impossible to go down their and get a result,

what gets me with them is that they claim brum is full of blues and most of villa support comes from out the city but they only get 14k at todays game and 2k of them were brighton, im not from brum but when I work their I only mainly see villa tops being worn by people, we cant help were a big club and we generate support from all over, what a tin pot club they are
