  1. Lady double dealer by deep purple, great up tempo song with some amazing lead guitar playing by god himself ritchie blackmore
  2. The only decade I dnt listen to is the naughties, also the late 90s is crap
  3. you must be joking, rolling stones, the who, the beatles, led zep, sabbath, deep purple, jethro tull, queen, cream, uriah heep, rainbow, acdc, now these are proper bands, bands from the 80s like metallica, guns n roses, ozzy osbourne, inxs, iron maiden, motley crue, they rule the 80s,
  4. I wernt really into prog rock, I like pink floyd but they deffo ay one of my favs, infact hawkwind who were a working class pink floyd were just as good to listen to in my ears, don't like yes, genesis, elp, just didn't really do anything for me, jethro tull were a really good band though and king crimson were ok, my personal favs black sabbath was the type of music that got me going though, the 80 was ok for rock but not great, early 90s the same, I've only just turned 30 but I'm stuck in the 60s and 70 with my music, my grandad was a massive influence on my music taste's and he's got over a thousand lps with all types of music you can imagine, growing up with those lps and discovering those great bands for the first time was amazing, I remember being a 10 year old listening to sabbath for the first time and actualy being really scared and spooked out by their dark sound and then also discovering the late 60s san francisco bands like jefferson airplane and the dead, blue cheer was another good 60s band aswell, after the 60s and 70s music just wasn't the same
  5. your right just those 3 bands gave us a shit load of classic albums songs and live performances, I would say by the late 70s though they were past their best but another generation of rockers were on the scene like acdc, aerosmith, van halen etc etc and as someone else stated the 70s were so diverse you had some awesome funk, disco, motown, I could not stomach punk and I hate the whole image it gave, same with new wave from the 80s, the number of great bands from the 70s pisses all over any other decade
  6. The thing with villa is that we have a really big fanbase but we have so many fair weather fans and fans that select a few games and also fans that completely stay away if we ay doing to well, if we can some how get thsese people to the games then we will need a capacity increase, man city's fanbase will increase globaly because of the players they have and because they will be challenging for the title every year but were nowhere near man city's level but I would say our fanbase is very simaliar to theirs at the moment, a lot of fans from other teams think we have shit support for a big club from a big city and we also get branded fickle and I admit their is some truth in that but we have the support to be filling villa park every week even if we ay doing to well, we are by far the biggest supported club from the midlands and that's no disrespect to wolves, forest who both have big local fanbases but they don't even come close to us, we are in the top ten best supported clubs in england and I have no doubt in that so it is a mystery why we only fill villa park so few times, until we consistency hit the 40k mark for each game what's point in extending capacity, where I live in rugeley which is 20 odd mile away from brum the town is split between villa and wolves with of course man utd and liverpool but so many villa fans from here don't bother goin to the games
  7. I can't stand the north stand it really let's the ground down, when lerner was on about extending the ground capacity we were in a very good position but I just can't see it happening for a bit until were consistency filling our ground and the only way we'll do that is if we have a good exciting team and challenging for europe, this club and the size of it with our fanbase and also the potential to be a lot bigger than we are should have a 50k capacity stadium, we have the potential to be a HUGE club, we have a really big localised fanbase with a medium sized national fanbase at the moment, this club can achieve anything it wants to with the right people on board
  8. As a rock fan I'd say 60s and 70s, hendrix, The doors, jefferson airplane, grateful dead, janis joplin, The who, The stones, led zep , black sabbath, deep purple and many many other great bands and artists
  9. ACDC, its a long way to the top if you wanna rock n roll
  10. Is that for when she shoves them up danny cipriani's arse? it would be worth it mate trust me haha
  11. Odd coincidence. My commuting home album tonight was: you got great taste of music, I love that album aswell, great musicians purple were
  12. All I know is that watford is a piece of piss to get to and palace is a nightmare, never been to palace but I've heard its terrible place to get to
  13. Made in japan by deep purple, greatest live album ever??? The intensity of the playing is unreal it feels like the whole stage is about to explode out through the speakers, a deep purple stage was a very dangerous place when blackmore was on it,
  14. What about blockbuster? Never was into it, bullseye is so dated but I can never turn it over when the repeats come on, if I remember right back in the late 80s when I was only about 6 bullseye used to follow the football on a sunday didn't it, you would have game of the day on then the highlights from saturdays games then bullseye, a memory that springs to mind from that time was tony daley getting the ball in the villa half and off down the wing he went and cutting inside to score a great goal, can't remember who it was against but it always stuck in my mind, I used to love some of the 90s programes like soldier soldier and I loved band of gold, you can always tell a 90s programe
  15. I can't stand modern comedy or american comedy's but what I do love and it does not matter how many times I watch it I still crack up every time is rising damp, steptoe, some mothers do ave em, only fools, til death do us part, open all hours, porridge, dads army, absolute timeless the old comedy's are
  16. Back home early from work because of the bloody weather, trying to earn enough money at the moment is a pain in the arse, watching cartoons with the little one as to bad though
  17. . Haha awesome, I ay been into it for a while now because it started to go rubbish but boy was it a part of my childhood and I have loads of happy memories from it, earthquake, tugboat, hulk hogan, ultimate warrior, undertaker, the rockers, heart foundation, legion of doom, demolition, ravishing rick rude, honky tonk man, macho man, big boss man and loads of others, I used to have all the figures aswell, I sometimes watch the old fights on youtube and it takes me back to such a happy carefree part of my life, oh well times change
  18. Are the bushwackers still goin? And what about hacksaw jim duggan?
  19. Good luck with that. When our Lab was spayed at 18 months, the vet said something similar. Let's just say that once she was back home, she went bonkers. Luckily the stitches held out. On the subject of loyal dogs.... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/west_midlands/6982320.stm absolutely amazing!! What a dog and how proud I'd feel to own him, amazing dogs labradors are
  20. The English bull is a clown in a dog suit. Everything is a toy. Also one of the few dogs that doesn't mind something new coming in to its family i.e. it isn't in the least bit jealous like most other dogs. As for Pit Bulls. The trouble is that they've been bred like that so it's handed down in their genes. The tough ones survived and they're the ones who've passed on their traits. The other problem with them is not so much the manner of the good ones but rather what they're capable of once they do snap. They only ever need to snap once and they'll do untold damage. I've read 3 articles in the past month relating to fatalities. I really wish the 3 breeds didn't share the word 'bull' in their name because it's too easy for people who don't know any better to just lump them together. ye I read they were the clown of the dog world, I understand what your saying about pitbull's and we all know its the number one choice for dog fighters and for good reason to but they are also used as family dogs and are very loving and loyal to their families, I suppose what it is with the pitbulls is that they have been breed to fight for so long that your always gonna get more bad pitbulls than other dogs, just like the pitbull the staffy and english terrier were fighting dogs and were very good to but they have been more domesticated as the years have gone on, pitbulls are banned over here for a reason and I respect that but they are by no means devil dogs as the media portray, for every bad pitbull you have so many great ones, another fine figure of a dog which is also banned over here is the dogo argentino which is a superb looking dog but was breed for large game hunting so maybe it would not be a wise choice to have one of those as a pet, huge responsibility is on the owners of any type of dog
  21. I can tell I'm wasting my time but all I'll say is comparing the manner of a 'Staffy' to the manner of a 'pit pull' is like comparing a Ford Fiesta to a Ferrari. They are Com.PLETE.ley different animals. Now I don't doubt for a second that many (not all) of the owners are often tatooed tossers that all look the same, but the actual dogs could not be more different. Which is a shame because, as you've just demonstrated, Staffys and regular English bull terriers get a bad press by association that is totally undeserved. I just find staffys so bloody loving and although I've not had to much contact with english bull terriers I've heard they are very family orientated though and very loving, right as for pitbulls I'm gonna stick up for them and say they also are a very loyal family dog and at one point was the dog of choice for many families back in the day, superb dog which has yet again had the media on its back because morons decide to train them to fight , anyone that treats a dog or any animal cruely deserves to have its throat ripped out by that animal, totaly agree staffys and pitbulls are diff dogs
  22. that's the thing with your staffy type dogs or your mastiff type dogs etc if they aint looked after properly and don't have the training all dogs should have they can do a hell of a lot of damage, granted you always have a bad apple in any breed of dog but because of the strengh and prey drive of the stronger dogs they can easily kill a human, I did hear though that some famous dog trainer in america dubbed labs the most aggressive dog he's worked with and their are incidents of them mauling kids, getting a good bloodline when requiring a staffy or bull mastiff etc is a must, we met our puppys parents who were so loving and had great temperaments and that's also a thing to look into,
