  1. I can't describe how much I would hate Fox and Sherwood if they took that deal. Borini... oh god, no. It's giving me a headache just thinking about it.
  2. I can't really think of anyone worse. He had no positive impact or contribution at all and it wasn't as if he was anonymous either... he was just appalling.
  3. Oh look, he's showing us how many goals he got last season.
  4. I really didn't. Not sad to see him leave.
  5. My Leicester supporting friend Re: Schlupp: 'He's very fast but a pure athlete. Technically not the best but he was immense for us in the run in. He is perfectly suited to wing back. Not good enough for left mid or left back really although he is always improving. Keep your grubby mitts off!'
  6. You rate Dembele and Townsend as being worth 20mil? Really? Are you Levy?!
  7. How dare he do what most of us would have done at that age if we were in the same position!
  8. Schlupp seems to me to be nothing but fast. We don't need players with poor technical skills. I think N'Zonzi would be better than Huddlestone but he's still not that good.
  9. I'd go with Sako on a free.
  10. Do you mean in terms of player or in terms of transfer? Sinclair for 2.5mil or Townsend for 12mil - I'd take Sinclair all day for that.
  11. Liverpool coming in next week is a lot better than them coming in 2 months' time. That's what I fear.
  12. Has he gone yet? It'd be a miracle if we got anything for him. I'd let him go on a free tbh.
  13. Schlupp is crap, Deeney is a typical Championship striker, N'Zonzi is meh. Urgh.
  14. Rather Roma than to another PL team.
  15. Dost reminds me of Carew. If we got a nice wedge and him in return for Benteke, that'd be OK.
  16. I'm worried that Sherwood will go in for Glen Johnson.
  17. They've also got a guy called Bas Dost who could be worth looking at as well. Das Boot?
  18. I'd take a punt on him for five mil. Wouldn't bother otherwise - he's not worth the risk at all.
  19. I'd bin him off. He's lived off his local lad come good image for far too long and just doesn't give anywhere near enough back to the club to justify his salary. He's had one good season in the last 5.
  20. Weimann move is fair all round. Best of luck to the guy.
  21. At some point you have to pay big wages and fees. Out of the 2 you've mentioned only one I wouldn't have done at the time and that Given. No sell on and massive wages when we could've kept Friedel who retired this summer!! Nzogbia seemed like a good signing at the time but with hindsight hasn't need anywhere near value for money. If you're looking at Richards he ticks all the boxes for us. He has something to prove he has proven quality he's young and still has potential. It may not come off but you can't stop trying because we made mistakes in the past. I'm not against paying good wages, I'm against giving that sort of money to be people that are far from a sure thing. Richards is not proven quality, he's an unknown quantity if anything because he's barely played in years.
  22. Or good judgement if they turn out to be good signings? Of course, yeah - that goes without saying. On the surface though, I think they'd fail.
  23. I agree that he deserve time but you have to take into consideration the long term ramifications of signings. It's been years and we're still paying Given and N'Zogbia, signed by McLeish, enormous (for us) amounts each week. Richards could easily be consigned to that pile. I'd argue that they've been holding us back in the transfer market for years. Irresponsible, bad decisions now could cost us for years to come.
  24. At worst, he's a useful squad rotation player. Very handy to bring off the bench to see out a game too. I like him, personally.
  25. Does he have ANY redeeming features?
