    McGinn lost his man for Prestons goal although Hutton being in a different postcode to where he should have been didn't help. Its true runners from midfield is a weakness. Our defence is too. At least one good CDM will help a lot. As will a proper left back and left sided centre half.

    He's a poor player. Plays in slow motion. Very limited. The only thing he ever really had was the odd good whipped in cross. Get rid. See no reason why Bree makes way for Elphick either. But thats another debate.

    I've seen us kicked a lot because of shit refs. Bullied out of a game because other players were larger? No, not really. Just for clarity, Im not saying don't buy large players. At all. I'm just saying its not the first trait I would consider.

    Size for what? We play on the deck. Winning headers? OK. What if size means being less agile? Personally, I don't care how big a player is compared to how good he is. Im just not sure it matters much anymore. The game isn't about physicality. We've played teams like Middlesboro filled with big lumps and took the piss out of them. Of course, if a midfielder is really good and is also a unit - bonus. We need taller defenders though. Them corners... Oy!

    To me that suggests we attack more at home so the game is more open and we need defenders to do their job even more so. I would still swap everyone except Tuanzebe. With Bree hopefully providing a selection headache. Our fullbacks in particular, are terrible.

    They could and would have sold him in the summer if that was the case. The owners made it quite clear we weren't selling and there's no reason to suggest that will change. They'll know we have to build a team around him to get out of this division. A few quid right now isnt going to help that. Jack will stay, and we'll strengthen.

    The board saying they don't expect to be promoted this season doesnt mean they arent going for it. Smith has said its the aim and of course it is. But if they came out and said they expect it, that would put pressure on Smith unfairly. He has come in during a sesson well underway.

    We have an agreement and clubs rarely break them unless there's a very good reason. He won't play for Chelsea, isn't injured and is settled and getting great experience. You dont jeopardise that and break an agreement just so he can play for some shit PL team.

    Jack is integral to how we play and talismanic. This is a terrible blow. However, I would go with El Ghazi where Jack is, Adomah back in when fit. And yes its time for O'Hare to make a claim too. I believe he has what it takes.

    Bree will be back soon. I would say Rb is fine. CB as a priority. We're one injury away from a nightmare. Then GK. Then left back I'd say. A dynamic high energy midfielder would be ace but I think if resources don't allow we have enough. Thor will come back and do well under Smith I reckon. Be nice to get somebody like Foden in on loan for 6 months but we have so many loans as it is.

    I'm aware Fulham didn't finish top 2. They might have and the point was that they came from way behind anyway. They had momentum. They didnt win every game but still picked up points where vefore they didnt. Just like us. Its not going to be easy and yes, we need to convert these games like Forest and baggies into the wins they should have been if we're to do it. But its still early in Smiths reign and theres a lot of football to play. We're not even close to being out of the race for automatic promotion. The bookies agree. We'll see.

    Yeah maybe. I still think what I think. Fulham came from way behind last year. I see us doing the same. We'll easily be play offs but I think we'll get that top 2 spot yet.

    Im convinced we'll be top 2. We should have taken 6 from Forest and WBA. As the season wears on we'll be nore ruthless I think and take what we deserve more often. We were robbed tonight. No other way of saying it. Wont happen every week. We'll chase them down. We'll definitely finish above the Baggies anyway.
