    They won't want to waste this season. They know there could be enough resources in the squad for a dynamic resourceful manager to get us up. I can't believe Bruce is in their future planning anyway so if he's proving a failure in the short term they'll pull the plug.

    You can't honestly be serious? A Villa team lost to a League 1 side in wretched form, managing a solitary shot on target. Maybe two if you're generous. And I care about cups and winning trophies. Not that I think for one second we'd win one under Bruce but Id rather go out to stronger opposition. That team were plenty strong enough to beat Burton and mistly Bruces signings. There were at least half in that starting XI that could be considered first team players. It wasnt a collection of fans on a red letter day.

    I suspect that a lot of the good things that happened last season were down to Terry being a leader on and off the pitch.

    I say it is. Who is in form? Nobody. Its time to give him a run in the team instead of Adomah and Elmo isnt a winger. Let's see what he can do. Bolassie won't be ready for a while apparently. Green was playing great last season before his injury. He needs games here.

    The players dont get a pass. No way. They were terrible. Bruce takes the Lions share of the blame and now I think the axe too, but the players have been rubbish this season. Basic mistakes are on their watch.
