  1. Still say this has all come from one Hack bullshitting through his teeth, drawing all the lowest common denominator gobshites with him.
  2. We can avoid Agents fees if we get him on Purple Bricks.
  3. I don't understand you TRO. We buy a few good players this window, we can easily push for playoffs, and why can't we win them? Then significantly strengthen in the summer with the wealth and potential of this club. New sponsorship deals etc. Are you suggesting not trying to get promoted until we've built most of a mid level PL squad in the Championship?
  4. We all need to take a breath. Is there any actual evidence Wolves are even interested? I mean actual evidence, not the fabricated blatherings of a Sun hack and the wake its caused?
  5. Nah. You sound hysterical. As if going to Wolves is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Jesus...
  6. If we get promoted this season we will be ready for the PL. We won't be fielding the same team, obviously.
  7. He is settled. Even if it's just for now. And we'll have to agree to disagree that jumping at the chance to join Wolves right now is the best thing for him. Never mind a formality.
  8. They might be more attractive for 6 months. I'll be generous. Tammy will be wary of blundering into another Swansea situation. I doubt he'll want to play for just anybody in the PL. There's no rush either. He's still a kid basically. There's a lot to be said for being settled, happy and playing for and with people you like. Which I'm sure is the case. He can look at it again in the summer. We all can.
  9. If we get in the PL we'll wipe our arse with £18m. See no point upsetting a player who is in great form and happy, just to send him to a smaller club in the PL. Wolves can grab something off Mendes' catalogue.
  10. A dynamic box to box midfielder who is more our box than theirs but not exclusively. There...
  11. Ah yes, Sky Sports "understands". When Sky Sports basically regurjitates other media. When they hear something is really happening, they dont use that word. I'll ask Michelle Owen if she's heard anything.
  12. You get 1 gobshite (Nixon) breaking a so-called story that he's conjured from his anus, then a few other hopeless hacks follow suit and all of a sudden it gathers momentum.
  13. I'm still calling bullshit on this.
  14. £18m. Christ, if there is anything in this, it will be double that.
  15. He's not Wolves sort of player and isn't a Mendes player either so I highly doubt there's anything in it. And Nixon is very unreliable.
  16. McGinn lost his man for Prestons goal although Hutton being in a different postcode to where he should have been didn't help. Its true runners from midfield is a weakness. Our defence is too. At least one good CDM will help a lot. As will a proper left back and left sided centre half.
  17. He's a poor player. Plays in slow motion. Very limited. The only thing he ever really had was the odd good whipped in cross. Get rid. See no reason why Bree makes way for Elphick either. But thats another debate.
  18. I've seen us kicked a lot because of shit refs. Bullied out of a game because other players were larger? No, not really. Just for clarity, Im not saying don't buy large players. At all. I'm just saying its not the first trait I would consider.
  19. Size for what? We play on the deck. Winning headers? OK. What if size means being less agile? Personally, I don't care how big a player is compared to how good he is. Im just not sure it matters much anymore. The game isn't about physicality. We've played teams like Middlesboro filled with big lumps and took the piss out of them. Of course, if a midfielder is really good and is also a unit - bonus. We need taller defenders though. Them corners... Oy!
  20. To me that suggests we attack more at home so the game is more open and we need defenders to do their job even more so. I would still swap everyone except Tuanzebe. With Bree hopefully providing a selection headache. Our fullbacks in particular, are terrible.
  21. They could and would have sold him in the summer if that was the case. The owners made it quite clear we weren't selling and there's no reason to suggest that will change. They'll know we have to build a team around him to get out of this division. A few quid right now isnt going to help that. Jack will stay, and we'll strengthen.
