Took a quick look at a Rotherham forum for their thoughts and was pleasantly surprised to see this:

With Spurs signing a million midfielders Sigurdsson and Holtby should be availible? I was thinking of Holtby as well. But his contract runs to 2018, so his price will be quite inflated.

Huh? How do you work that one out?

With the midfield stocks that Tottenham now have, why would a promising player go there just to sit on the bench?

I do give a shit, if it's actually him. If he's making homophobic or derogatory remarks on Twitter, I'm sure he will be held liable for them. I believe the players have a social media policy that they must adhere to, and I'd hazard a guess at whatever comments being made falling outside that policy (I haven't seen the comments myself, I'm just going by what people have said on this thread). If the jackals in the media pick up on it, I'm sure they'll find a way to blow it way out of proportion and that will negatively reflect on him and the club. Of course, this is all assuming that it actually is Gabby.

Couple of recent viewings for me: (500) Days of Summer - 8/10 - Romantic comedies aren't generally my forte but I really enjoyed this film. Very charming. I think the cinematography, the characters, the excellent soundtrack and the film's non-linear structure work really well to give the story a genuineness that really resonated with me. In Bruges - 8/10 - Great film. Never seen it before so had no idea what to expect, but picked it up after some recommendations on here. I'd guess you'd call it a dark comedy? Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson and Ralph Fiennes were all great. Really witty dialogue, some brilliant cinematography, a melancholic score, and just the right amount of humour, drama and violence.

Telegraph saying AVB wants to get Hulk from Zenit for £30m. I honestly think they can challenge for the title with the way this team is shaping up.

Surely we must at least try someone else from corners. Westwood's floated ones are almost as poor as Bannan's. Is this the instruction from Lambert? Tonev put in the only decent in-swinging corner I've seen from a Villa player for ages, against Malaga.

Poor performance on the whole. We undoubtedly improved in the second but struggled to find a way through. Couple of bobbled efforts fell to Gabby and Benteke (who Mignolet made a great save from) but I think we were too tired in the end. When you play a counterattacking style, you use up a lot of energy chasing the ball around. Doing that against 2 teams will take it out of you I'd imagine, then to play the same way for a third match in a week will mean the players are knackered. While Bacuna didn't exactly have the best debut, no chance am I writing him off. Westwood's first performance was worse from memory. There's still time. This game also highlighted why we need a proper creative midfield player.

Liverpool have been the better team tbh. We have been shite.
