i think lambert is getting a bit more shit than he deserves, he has good ideas but with the players we have not even ferguson or the special one could win a **** game

id be happy with a point from this game, or atleast some signs of improvement from last game..

statistics are like a bikini anyways, what they show is interesting but what they hide is vital. shame that villa is a **** ugly fatty at the moment..

have we been linked with anyone interesting? anyone remotly interesting? morrison doesnt count... even reading have been linked with arshavin! even if hes been sheit for a while its still more interesting than anything ive heard about villa.. dont want to sound like a party pooper but i think the january window might be alot more horrid than some believes... we dont really have the squad or anything to offer any top players anymore and seeing as lambert has already said he wont accept extortionate prices in the january window and combine that with the new salary ethos at villa is not really looking bright. We will probably end up with something along the lines of another two championship players when what we really need is quality, now rather then having to wait 4-5 months for players to get into the game. Even if lambert is great at finding these players we need someone who can hit the ground running in the same way as bent saved us when he came in january and that will be costly. am i beeing to much of a doom monger ?

i think were struggeling to get a top player in each starting 11 we field each game..

i think bennet will become a good player, the problem is it might take a while..

what dr pangloss said. it just seems like nathan does what so many other youth players do, they become reasonable then hit a glass ceiling. I think whe will do well in the championship

im still hoping hes reschooling and in january we will see a bent that works backwards and shit! a bent that does something more than standing in the box!

from the clips ive seen he looks pretty solid, but not realy enough to base it on.... but as people have said we need someone with a bit of physical presence and if lambert rates him then i recon we should have a go!

bannan has a resonable set piece foot. not good, reasonable. the rest of his game is in my opinion mediocre, he tries shooting but when the shooting is shit so is the trying. and hes fecking short, if he had another couple of inches he would have been able to block ivanovics header. Or if he could jump. recon he could play on stilts?

terry is out so thats an upside aswell...

i recon we could steal a draw, they will be tierd and missing a couple of players etc. a win on the otherhand would be really nice but hard to achieve, if they **** up and we play our best then maybe.
