IMO, Paul Lambert could change Aston Villa as a club, in a way not seen since Sir Graham Taylor. Remember signings like Platt and Yorke and the effect they had (and the money they made). I often wonder how our fortunes would have turned out had he had not taken the England job (I wonder if he thinks the same sometimes). I think the next few years could be the nearest we've ever come to finding out.

Love 95% of the home kit, just think the collar's a bit fussy. Love the open seams across the chest, nice touch. As far as the away kit is concerned, it's probably a bit too Bristol Rovers for me. Loved the idea of the plain white shirt/black shorts design, but hey ho. Just to join in the Andi W mancrush love in, the bastard would look good in a fuggin' bin bag. Git!

I remember the great Valentino Rossi once saying in an interview that he would never ride for a team with tobacco sponsorship. Not long after he signed for Gauloises Yamaha. Thom Yorke (yes, he) said he was harangued for wearing Nikes in the "Just" video, he didn't even realise there was a problem! And this happened to a guy who supported so many worthy causes, it wasn't true, but for this one "error" he was sounded out! He admitted that to take the moral high ground, you have to be squeaky clean. Let's face it, who is?
