  1. I was pleased to see RHM come on for a few minutes .I have seen this lad in the youth and reserve teams and he certainly knows where the net is.Good move by Sherwood ,it shows a bit of vision and gives a message to all the reserves and youths that if they are good enough they are old enough.Must have been soul destroying for the young lads under Lambert knowing they would never get a look in
  2. I feared the worst when i read before the game that Burnley had not beaten City in 41 years.
  3. Looking at how injury prone Vlaar ,Baker and Senderos are,i can see Sherwood replacing at least one of them in the close season.Vlaar would be the obvious one ,as his contact will have ended..Not sure how long Baker has left on his contract, but i would get rid of him, as his injury record must be on a par with Vlaar
  4. Always a fair chance that Pulis will fall out big time with the Baggies chairman like he did with the Palace chairman.Jeremy Peace manages to fall out with all his managers eventually .
  5. Would'nt that just piss our little neighbours Small Heath off,if we were to be taken over by the richest man in China
  6. Educating Julie (1984) I watched this a few nights back and really enjoyed it.A group of students are given projects to do and Julie's project includes a visit to a Naturist Camp .She takes her boyfriend with her and I found his reaction amusing at times. As you might expect, plenty of naked female flesh on view 7/10 for me
  7. Off the top of my head Craig Gardener Stevie Me John Terry Diego Costa Ashley Young Ashley Cole Stuart Downing Joey Barton Wayne Rooney Anyone who plays for Small Heath
  8. Rio Conchos (1964) Certainly not a classic, but if you like watching westerns it is worth watching. A 6/10
  9. I like Hutton but wish he would cut out those tackles like the Berahinho one. He was a lucky boy to have stayed on the pitch the other night
  10. We Dive At Dawn (1943) Another great war classic i watch from time to time and never tire of .A 8/10 for me
  11. As far as i am concerned Gabby has not got a football brain and would struggle for goals in the championship.
  12. I don't know which is worse, watching Villa who can not even score or watching England who can not take a wicket..Watching both games over the weekend has depressed me
  13. O'Neil, Lambert and Faulkner all have played a big part in our demise but our clueless owner is the major reason as far as i am concerned .He is the one who makes the decisions .His latest balls up was waiting for the transfer window to close before getting rid of Lambert ,no doubt just to save money. This gave any new any new manager no chance to change anything.
  14. How on earth Lambert and now Sherwood let this guy take set pieces is beyond me. He truly is bloody awful with them. I always remember the importance SGT use to put on set pieces and how many goals we use to score from them .The present team never score from set pieces and obviously don't practice them
  15. Attack Force (2006) I must have watched around half a dozen films starring Steven Seagal over the years and they seem to be decent or poor. This one in my opinion comes into the latter .A 5/10
  16. Aces N Eights (2008) A tv movie i watched just by chance a couple of nights back. Nothing special to be honest, but watchable 6/10
  17. Thanks for that MakemineVanilla, i have not seen that film but it sounds a good film so will add it to my "to watch list"
  18. The way things are going ,it's looking as if we will be going down as the bottom club never mind just being relegated
  19. Every time i see Bent score i think to myself how could that clueless idiot Lambert let both Bent and Robinson go out on loan for the rest of the season and replace them with erm Nobody. He made some bloody awful decisions in his time at the club but for me this is the biggest.
  20. I keep reading Burnley are one of the three certs to be relegated, yet a team who can go to Man City and Chelsea and come away with a draw should not be written off
  21. You have me beat there MakemineVanilla, go on tell me
  22. The Way West (1967) A old western that crept under the radar. It stars Kirk Douglas who i thought played his role well and if your into westerns,it is certainly worth watching.7/10
  23. Born Of Hope (2009) Not a memorable film in my opinion. I found it hard to stay interested at times to be honest and did well to finish it. 5/10
  24. Massive crowd of 15,101 at the Sty tonight and 1,200 of them were Boro fans. What a joke club they are !
  25. Oh lovely jubbly , hope this is the start of the end for the bastards!
