Tiredness is the whole reason those things can suffer. Not sure how that can't be understood. If your legs are on fire, your muscles aren't working you are going to struggle to do the most basic things well in any match let alone a European semi final.

We deserved to lose yep. We've been told Conference League is tough, Spurs fan knows it, Roma fans, even West Ham though they smashed through it. It's especially tough when you're on your last legs. Olympiacos had our number and that's all it takes sometimes. Doesn't mean you have to be the best team. Hopefully this is a reality check and a good learning curve. The experience will do us good. It's a wake up call for next season too. Whether we are in the Champions League or the Europa League it's going to be even tougher to balance them against a strong league campaign. We can be proud this year though. Felt for the players in the end they tried but both mentally and physically they were done.

I hope we at least turn up. Not expecting us to turn the tie around it's going to be tough but I hope we give it a good go.

I think if Rogers and Tielemans aren't playing we really have to risk playing McGinn higher up and playing Tim next to Luiz. I also agree with the calls to play Moreno. It's such a tricky scoreline though, risk one goal and we are done. I think risk over caution at this stage though, especially when on paper we have the better attacking players.

Barry started excellently until his injury killed his season too. I'd say Chrisene has done well to pick up regular starts in the Championship as has Revan even if he was losing most weeks.

A lot depends on Olise and Eze for them. Both fit they can give a game to any team.

Good posts here... Another thing is he pretty runs around game. Interesting that him and Dougie haven't been injured, albeit Dougie clearly takes great care of himself like Watkins. Most our injuries come in defence where a lot of the game is positioning and high intensity sprints which are obviously no good more your muscles especially hamstrings.

I really hope they spend and spend a lot, especially on wages for those willing to drop down to league one. Exactly the wrong approach to take and hopefully they'd be stuck down there with all that money burning away.

Felt he struggled at Chelsea. Never good to write someone off because of that see (Salah, De Bruyne) but think we could do better.

There were a lot of laughs at Butler but it's clear he knows talent. The lad he's sent to Chelsea is already making an impact albeit he seems very raw. It'll be good to sustain a long term relationship.

Lets not forget where Leicester ended up after Champions League football either. Or Málaga (semi finalists) and Schalke in Germany. So yeah not the holy grail but if we get it's let's bloody enjoy it and hope it does help us kick on but it's never certain.

Tom Wagner is an absolute genius to pull this off, yet still they adore him because of him Trumpesque ways that are lapped up by their simpleton fans.

We won't know, nobody on an Aston villa forum will know, nobody on a Sheff Utd forum will, it's all speculation. No confirmed facts. We will only have an idea potentially via our accounts.

Yep, not his fault we have no choice but he doesn't have the tactical discipline to play this role.

Not great again, but ultimately our own fault. Many of our players go into poor form, after all not every player is Kevin De Bruyne. Other positions on the pitch we can rotate, rest etc We have nobody for Dougie, we were naive enough to not sign a replacement for Dendoncker as hopeless as he was, we lost Kamara and we are struggling to even play anyone alongside him.
