4 years out of 5 in the Championship because we have shown zero ambition. Sell the vision and they will come. We have been massively constrained by our own limited thinking. It’s small time I’m afraid.

I just don’t agree. We are a massive club, in Britain’s second city. Ambition is to go for someone that has achieved stuff. No disrespect but wtf had Lambert, Bruce or Smith achieved? Sweet fa is the answer

Please please please get a decent manager. Been hugely underwhelmed every time since we appointed Houllier. No ambition = more torture for us (the only people that matter!)

I blame Boris and Trump! Total pair of pricks who are to blame for all of the World’s ills! Oh.....and Smith......maybe a bit of Suso.....probably Purslow too........and the players, let’s not forget them.....Who cares as yet again we have blown a massive opportunity! That’s what really effing hurts.

Absolute banker 3 points for us tomorrow. They will string us along a bit longer, provide some false hope and then massively mess it up just as we all start to believe. Get your money on it. Banker Villa win. Probably 2-1.

I do agree with some of this but we need to be very careful. Last time we went down we filled our team with championship players and we became a championship club. We can’t make that mistake again. We need to keep our players together and just add in a few areas. A lot of the players talked about here lack pace. We really need pace in our team. Throw a bit of that in and we are a different proposition

He is decent. He looks to have the right attributes to play in the PL. Not sure we will be after a striker though with Wes, Ally and Davis on the books. We really need wide forwards with pace. Throw in a Robbie Savage type centre mid and a new coach and we would walk the Championship

It has been a horrible season but I honestly feel we are close. We are in a much better position to turn things around now and when it starts it can move very quickly. The next managerial appointment is massive. Dean is done. Get that right and it could really be lift off. Keep the faith.

We just gave up after the first goal. Is that on the players or the manager? Probably both. I don’t care anymore. Stay....Go......Not bothered........Never seen a team in the relegation battle give up like that since.......well........the last time we went down! Gutless

Our bench options are truly depressing. It’s criminal that the PL allowed this additional substitution rubbish. It is blatantly beneficial to all the establishment. Utter rubbish

We need to win tomorrow. Not just for the 3 points but for the psychology of it. It would give us a massive lift. Maybe provide a springboard for us to mount the great escape. Equally, it would be a massive blow to WH, Watford and Bournemouth. Massive game. We need to pull one out the bag!

True. We were incredibly lucky against the foxes much to my amusement as it is my home city. I was the only person in our road going nuts when Trez scored. Seems a bloody long time ago mind!

They did beat Liverpool 3-0. I watched that game and they were superb

Watford are pretty bad but so are Newcastle. Watford will sense blood if we don’t beat Man U and with Pearson in charge he will make sure they are right at it. I think they will win comfortably but I do hope I am wrong.
