You're right he doesn't owe is anything but he should never have done the whole video and "villa is my club/want to stay here long term" speech if there was any chance he might be off at some point. Totally understand the reasons he's off but after that speech I really thought he was an exception to the norm of footballer and had a bit more to him. Money talks and most players now walk.

His appoinent to me indicates our new ceo's lack of football understanding, which is a shame as Fox seems to know his stuff off the field wise. Can't see TS here for long and never thought he was right for job. Think he talks the talk but most of it is hot air, strikes me as very bitter about how things turned out at Tottenham, which is where he'd rather be. Resigned to relegation now, Lerner must take full responsibility for the downfall of this mighty club.

Notice the media making a big deal of senderous's trip but have far less interest in how in Chelsea's game before Diego Costa scored his first he could and maybe should have been sent off for striking a Swansea player in the face... So bored of the biased media love in with the sky teams.

Spot on. Hairy Hands said when he was posting last summer and in January 2013 I think that Lambert was having to go for his 4th or 5th transfer target options as he wasn't being given the funds to go for even his 2nd choice options, that's why we never got players like Cresswell and ended up with Bennett and Luna. I would really like to see what lambert could do properly backed.

Great player, have always thought he has been our most important player at villa. Can understand if he decides to leave if he gets a better offer but would be gutted, good player and captain. Hoped he would be here for years leading villa, thought he could become another centre back legend but reckon he'll be off. Crying shame how we have surrounded him and tekkers with substandard teammates. Just think what could have been if learner had have sanctioned some of lamberts first or second choice transfer targets the last two years rather than third, forth or fith options. Please stay Ron.

Like both home and away, not perfect but about as good as we could have hoped considering last years effort, well done macron... Looking at the official site the shirts with acorns on look so much better than the adult dafabet shirts, it's be good if they didn't hav the silly logo on and just the dafabet words, it would look a whole lot better.

Great news, eff off Levy... He'll probably be gone next year but we all thought that anyway, at least lambo now can spend 12 months looking for his replacement and doesnt have to rush. Cant wait for the new season to start. He's been a bit of a nob what with the transfer request but if he sticks to what he has said today then fairs dues and i'll support him all season and if he goes next year then fair enough and thanks. appreciate it is a simplistic way of looking at it but just getting so annoyed with all the pro spurs media and what they will pay, can handle the fact he wants to go now, over that, just want it sorted and if he does go Villa must get what he is worth, 30 mil minimum.
